Prey direct connection to P:HG

Yes good point, maybe greyback fought a feral predator that took the pistol from the tribe or ferals tribe left earth and greybacks moved to kill the tribe.

I like to think Greyback killed Naru to get the pistol because it would be funny to see her act like he’s just another feral just to get her ass kicked by an actually intelligent Yautja, or maybe he just killed the chief.

Maybe, Naru had a son. She gifted him the Pistol.

Similarly to Naru, her son didn’t want to live a traditional life. He left the tribe and worked at a port.

Not enjoying the monotonous labor, he joined a group of pirates. He was an effective warrior, and, eventually, became the captain of his own ship.

He and his crew found much success raiding merchant ships. However, while forced to search a remote island for resources, his crew happened upon indigenous islanders.

His crew, recognizing the peaceful and defenseless nature of the islanders, decided to attack the small population, killing any of the men and older women they could find, while having their way with the women.

Naru’s son is enraged at the brutal behavior of his crew, both relating to the natives way of life and seeing them as not deserving of the violence that they inflict upon the merchant ships they typically target.

(Finishing similarly to the 1718 comic)
He begins hunting his crew, vowing to kill them all, give up the pirate’s life, and remain on the island. As he is systematically killing his former crew, a younger Greyback observes his skill, finds him a worthy target, and attacks him.

Amazed that the demon from his mother’s stories has found him is this remote location, he fights only using his sword as he understands his opponent. After trading attacks for only a moment, those of his crew that remain use this opportunity to attack them both, striking Greyback with a bullet. Seeing they’re surrounded by a common enemy, Greyback and Naru’s son pause their duel to protect themselves.

After seemingly defeating the rest of the crew. Naru’s son looks at Greyback whom has taken a defensive posture toward him but has given him the opportunity to attack first. He says to Greyback, “This is as far as you go,” and begins his assault with a flurry of attacks aimed at Greyback’s mask. Easily dodging and parrying the attacks, Greyback holds off on going for the kill as he is impressed that this human continues to engage only in hand to hand combat.

Suddenly, a gunshot rings out from one of the crew members that feigned injury in the earlier battle and played dead in the blood of one of his fallen crewmates. Greyback immediately notices that Naru’s son was hit in the back, and uses his plasma caster to dispatch the assailant.

Turning his attention back to Naru’s son, Greyback hears him say, “No more. This is it,” as he is reaching for his pistol. Holding it by the barrel, Greyback understands this is not a threat and continues to listen. Naru’s son tosses the pistol to grey back, slowly gargling, “Take… it,” with his final breath.

yep, i reckon they need to stop making pred movies and make another transformers one.
Although they have been getting progressively more ridiculous as well.

I was thinking that the Feral jumps from tree to tree like in PHG when I watched the movie. This new information blows my mind… no wonder.

It would mean that currently city hunter would’ve been born roughly around this time. The film is set in 1719 and Predator 2 is in 1997 with about 278 years separating Feral’s death and CH’s.

Its not clear if he was present for Prey but he’s either been born or will be sometime after this depending on how close to 300 he was.

We know Greyback (Elder) will get the pistol from Naru. It’s not clear if the credits depict him arriving though. They show up after Naru comes back home but it’s not clear if Greyback was onboard any of those. But best guess is that they’ve come to retrieve the body and is probably why they surround Harrigan in 97. They simply can’t risk him making off with any part of City Hunter or his disk.
