Don’t think it’s a coincidence it’s only a minute

Looks great! That’s how you do a teaser.
Can’t wait to see it,
and fuck all these female lead haters.
They wont get my money this time.
Well Fuck me 😡 god damn it, well looks like Imma ignore this new canon
For me it’s more of it doesn’t make sense they both didn’t just die right away in an open field and that they’re changing the lore with them having the flintlock pistol
Well not like they would know anything about Thermal vision or the concept of it in the first place…
Wait, where do you see that? Can you post the frame?
I don’t see any pistol, if you’re talking about the running segment here’s what she’s holding, doesn’t seems a gun to me
Yeah thats a tomahawk and some kind of bag alright. I think people here are just jumping the gun too fast
True
I didn’t saw any pistol
and even if there were one doesn’t mean they’re retcnonning anything, let’s chill and watch what the script is before getting to these conclusions
Anyway,
they don’t die in the field for the same reason because Harrigan doest die on the rooftop at the beginning of Predator 2, or for the same reason Royce and company don’t die immediately after landing:
because the yautja do not just “kill mindlessly”, but HUNTS
it’s the same reason of why yautja hunts with wirstblades, combistik and nets, instead of just shooting plasma from a futuristic rifle.
Also, I do love the tone they gave off here, no generic boom boom trailer music, rush cuts, cheesy lines, or CGI madness flashing up the screen, simple show of this is a dark atmospheric hunt and its about to going down.
I don’t think guns were even invented yet in the time of the movie.
Plot armor go thunk
Guns, or the concept of guns, have been around since CE 1000. The more traditional firearm with think of (like flintlocks) started around the 1300s. This movie takes place in 1719.
Yeah that was my bad, I jumped the gun there. They way she was holding it is similar to how you hold a Flintlock Pistol once fired (turning it into a melee blunt weapon).
When reviewing it, it was indeed a Tomahawk.
Good to know, thanks.
Where are the gun?
