Prey review

Thank God

This predator power cleans a grizzly… then takes out 50 men…only to be killed by a women…not woke at all. 7 out of 10 then last 15 min 2 out of 10

A resourseful woman.

She can probably kill 50 men I’m a different way. By poisoning their food perhaps.

Jason senses slight sexism.

If you read the comic, Adolini gifted Greyback, or Golden Angel at the time, with his flintlock with his dying breath. Excellent comic, would highly recommend. Although it is a shame it was retconned with the addition of Prey

The director said they changed the predator gear due to it being 300 yrs ago and predator weren’t as advanced. Pred jumps off spacecraft and shoots homing arrows like in guardians of the galaxy. Punches a bear in the face and breaks its neck. followed by a press slam with some ritual blood drinking. Drops a remote mini mine and takes a 50 cal musket shot to the dome.

They didn’t want feral in the trees all the time. The wanted melee range action. Even with bowgun, he had to come down to retrieve the arrows.

Comanche arrows did little damage and shield protected against muskets. If feral played king range game, theyd never get him

I’m not saying it great, cause feral was too careless, but that’s a possible justification.

I’m of an opinion that humans are outmatched against Preds when it comes to tech, so Preds should almost always win. If by design PRED has to lose, something weird has to happen. It’s difficult to pallet a reasonable way for PRED to lose.

All Predators seek a good hunt, especially a good fight so it makes sense he’ll want to get up close and personal with his opponents. You see this with all of them in the past films where they go both melee and long range, even when long range is a better option. You see JH mostly sticks to long range unless melee favors him. Feral makes him more of a bitch with that as JH goes in when Dutch’s team isn’t looking or is missing a limb/injured. Only twice did he do melee, and that’s with Billy and Dutch, one of which he ultimately lost.

I think people miss the point that to the Predators, its not just about the win, its the thrill of the hunt, otherwise they would be tree camping 100% all the time.

Like some people do in this game, including me sometimes. Lol

Agreed.

Wasn’t Hawking’s killed by melee as well? Dillon in part too, after he was softened up. Mac’s death also felt like it could have been melee as JH was standing right over him.

Hawkings was jumped from behind and dragged off. Dillon had his gun arm shot off before Jungle went in & Mac was just shot point blank whilst under a log & in no position to fight back. By the standards of what we’ve seen from characters like City Hunter, Wolf & now Feral: Jungle just comes off as a coward, especially when applying the Honor Code to him.

We also have zero clue how Billy was actually killed, it’s possible Jungle fought him in melee, it’d be an easy kill on that log TBF, but we just don’t know since it is off screen.

JH was lightly armed

He was also blooded. That hunt was a vacation for him from the real prey

Yeah, besides Billy (probably) and Dutch, it was hardly an open fight.

Yeah Jungle is the epitomy of 30-something office worker on safari. City & Wolf & now Feral came to fuck & show off.

He was just not an idiot. City Hunter and Feral would have died if they tried that what they did on their movie vs Dutch’s team. Jungle Hunter hunted like a Predator that wins vs ft premades on this game. “Coward” = being smart, sneaky, ambushing by surprise cus the other option is getting melted and dying.

Wolf caused as much harm to the situational as good, saved by plot armor several times, he wasn’t the smartest Predator, he just looked cool.

Jungle Hunter came first. He is above any code that was made afterwards. He is the true representation of what a Predator is.

By this logic he could of been a bad blood and still been honorable

Besides we all know the Honor idea was a retcon so by this logic JH doesn’t follow the Honor code.

The way this game portrays Predators in gameplay is a fucking travesty and should never be used to powerscale them. These are dudes who are supposed to be leaping into gangs of thugs, fighting off cybernetic luchadors & ninjas and dodging Tank Shells at almost point blank. They’re a Warrior Race, they should act like it. City, Wolf & Feral all do. Jungle comes off like a Coward because everything we know about the Species from 2 onwards shows that they’re the kinda dudes who will throw hands with an Alien Queen with their bare hands if they have to. THAT’S a Predator.

Idk about Feral but CH went in the middle of a Colombian Drug Cartel’s stronghold, jumped in the middle of their group, which all of them are armed with not only full auto weapons but also armed with grenade launchers and one at least armed with a .50 cal rifle. I’d say he could have had some chance with Dutch’s team.

I mean Feral did similar things like that, like the one french dude who pulled a knife on him for a 1v1, Feral just threw a trap through his head instead of honoring said challenge. Mofo is a vicious fuck who gives none.

City would fucking curbstomp Jungle in a fight so he’d probably take Dutch’s team even easier than Jungle did so long as he didn’t get cocky with Dutch and Dutch wasn’t able to get ahold of something like his Smart Disc like Harrigan was.
