That shot should have killed him straight up. It lined up to the lung and heart, all prime for a dead Predator.
It happened, limb loss, massive wounds, blood loss, a headshot that does massive brain damage, it fits the bill. I mean people get dizzy when they get up too quickly if they have a headache for cripes sake, a .50 bullet to the head is 100X that.
She jumped on top of the Predator to stab him, put a rope around it and pulled him down to mud. She does not have the strengh to do that to Predator. Its not believable. She was stabbing and dodging, Feral was struggling on a melee fight vs her.
Naru wasn’t likeable at all, she is just doing dumb shit for most movie, getting herself and others in dangers by being reckless and arrogant, and not listening to people that have more experience than her have to say. And being lucky. She gets lucky so often, that’s how she survives through most of the movie and wins. Its mostly about lucky, main character plot armor, having others die for her when they make mistakes. While she can make mistakes and get away with it, since she is disney princess living on easy mode.

As if that isn’t every action movie ever. Main character falls from 40 story building and lives? Taking so many bullet wounds that blood loss should kill them but survives anyway? Mag dump but never reloads ammo? Nothing new here.

Dutch gets lucky when Jungle misses & hits his AR instead of him. He gets lucky when he falls down a 60 FOOT WATERFALL and ends up in wet mud which in this universe can hide him from the Predator’s Thermal Vision, something it would not do IRL BTW it would actually make him EASIER to see on Thermal. Then he gets lucky when Jungle crawls past him on the tree & doesn’t notice. Then when Jungle instead of killing him on the log then & there, RETRACTS HIS WRISTBLADES and lets him try & fight him in a boxing match, and then even more lucky when Jungle stands somehow right under the log that will fall on him & put him out of the fight.
If you’re gonna jack off the 1st movie so much pay some attention to the chain of events & think about how much luck was in play in that one compared to the luck that Naru got, and she did get lucky absolutely.
