You can & they ragdoll. Fun fact, I’ve done roughly 11 playthroughs of Concrete Jungle in my lifetime, not counting just replaying random missions and having fun in levels & goofing off or exploring, etc, etc.
Many humans wont die from one quick shot of the first plasma caster. Same for AVPClassic, AVP2, AVP2010, PHG etc.
The AI die to quick shots all the time in HG alone, they’re still fully human.
Plot armor Fox 80s action prince protagonist living on easy mode.
Video games my guy, this film is not a video game, otherwise plasmacaster would be super OP and sniper rifles would blow away a Predator in one shot.
And all of them show to destroy and kill, not stun or disable so least it is constant on being a very lethal weapon at that line.

Yeah using this game for powerscaling is fucking tarded. The weapon & physical damage is all over the place. Bullets seemingly don’t even exist in this universe, guns just point & aim & shit happens.

Or just go with my explanation that Jungle Hunter lowered the damage to not kill Dutch yet. While there is no logical explanation for Naru physical performance vs the Predator. Not possible nor believable. Disney Princess living on easy mode, showing how anyone no matter how mediocre they are they can kill a Predator.
You’re just playing fucking favourites here. The only explanation for Dutch surviving the shot is that Jungle fucking missed & hit the gun whilst aiming for arm like he did with Dillon. Cause he shot Dillon’s arm straight off even though he was just as much a threat as Dutch at the time.

He missed cus he didnt want to kill yet. I’m sure there is something in the extra commentaries that they mention JH wanted to take his time with Dutch at the end. No time to find that now. Dutch was the leader and best soldier there.
That’s the whole reason I signed up to join the new Space Force. Donald Trump is a visionary , We can’t trust the Yautja!

At the end. Which is at night time when Dutch has shown Jungle up by luring him into an ambush. At that specific point in time, Dutch hadn’t proven himself any more of a threat than the rest of the team. Hell, from Jungle’s POV Billy, Dillon & Mac stayed to fight whilst Dutch was trying to get to the chopper with the other two.

No my guy, this isn’t how it works, either show me with sources to back up how this makes sense or just concede that it’s just how films are done. I mean look at John Wick, you tell me after all the shit he went through in the last film, beaten up as fuck and then shot off a multiple story building in NYC getting hit by fire escape railings and falling face first in concrete but he survives all that? A man in his 20s can’t survive that, much less a man in his 50s. Bullshit logic indeed but its an action film, John Wick is the protag, and everyone loves Keanu Reeves so of course he get’s away with it.
But we can’t give the same pass to Naru…? Huh I wonder why…

No, its on that part. I remember this deleted scene which is before Dutch falls, on the commentary they mentioned JH wanted to play around ( what he did on that deleted scenes, he was aiming with the laser and missing shots in purpose to troll Dutch).
Playing around is different from finding prey worthy. Everybody plays around with potatoes in this game, not because they’re good sport but because it is to show how superior we are. It’s about the ego trip.
About the only thing this game gets right is the SMALL occasions where Predators can act cocky, where we can show off & showboat to the FT who can’t aim for shit and taunt them with our at the time, brief sense of invincibility. That’s when you feel like a real Yautja in this game.

Try to use some logic on how she overpowered the Predator in melee combat.
Never watched and I would probably cringe at the movie for it.
Cus she is an unlikable weak little girl of a character that isnt physically capable of doing what she did in the movie and makes the Predator looks bad in comparison.

Its a thing with every action film ever, John Wick does nothing different from main character guy surviving bullshit in action films, especially 80s action films no less, that would kill a person in the first fight of the film.
