Private match options

I wish we had more options in the private match window to make the gameplay more customized.
The host should be able to set the following:

  • Round duration: 15, 20, 25 or 30 minutes.

  • Minimum time exfil: The time until the exfiltration helicopter can be called in, 5, 10 or 15 minutes(or affected by the “Round duration” setting).

  • Specific weapon mode(Clash only): Either you can play with the “normal” weapon mode where you choose weapons in the customization menu, like we always have. OR the host can change it to a specific mode, where everyone only can use, let’s say, knives & wristblades, or pistols + shotguns(i think you get what i mean). Optionally banning certain weapons. The weapon settings will affect weapon crates that are spread out on the maps too.

  • Total number of players: An option to increase or decrease the amount of Fireteam players(and Predator, once Illfonic has come up with an idea how it’s going to work to have more than one Predator in a round). Challenges are fun, why not fight vs 5 or even 6 Fireteam players? Check your limits as a Predator(or Fireteam, once we’ll start seeing 2 Predators in a game).

  • Spectator mode: For both Fireteam and the Predator.

All players in the private match will be able to see which settings has been changed/chosen by the host.
I was going to add “Last Man Standing” mode, where all Fireteam players starts with this so called “buff”, but then i realised it’s a handicap. xD

Would be cool with some of these options in the public quick plays too.

Yea these are good options I’d love implemented @OldKingHamlet @Courier

Given that you’re in a party, designate a host, and accept the implications of playing their setup, then yes.
It sounds cool, like the ability to only use melee weapons or plasma weapons, or just bow and arrow would be interesting. But since Illfonic is a game developer, this sort of customization would be like throwing the game over to ppl in which the setup might make ppl angry. Too many options, and you’ll likely make it so that one is OP than the other.

What you’re actually suggesting might be a tool more useful to the game developers to fix their style of game, but ideally, I trust the devs to do this for us and not release it to the public.I wouldnt be surprised if something like this is made within their setup in Unreal. Assuming they are using Unreal.

For private games absolutely. Let the community experiment a little

You should be able to chance host in private without remake the lobby.
