You have to set it as a custom button in custom controls

I thought you just had to unmute your mic. That’s all I had to do.

Some mics don’t have a mute button. My first mic that I used didn’t have a mute feature, so I swapped the L1 to push to talk.
Now that I have a mic that mute I now have a free button I can assign to any function

I thought all ps4 users always have an open mike so we all have to hear them breathe/sniff/chew/be spoken to by their mother/wife/gf/kids… or in the case of strelok1978_72 yesterday, sob uncontrollably in Russian when his Pred got chased around the map and melted (I wish I had recorded that game - I would have kept it forever!)
