PS4: Working solution for 30 fps!

Get a PC suited for gaming asap!
(No bait but the truth!)

Why are you playing on console at all?
Consoles are if at all suited for children or casuals, i.e. for beginners. And Predator: Hunting Grounds is not suited for these groups.
(I had a console at the age of 9 but after the first PC at the age of 13 I never went back. And at that time, consoles were technically superior to PCs.)

PS4 from 2013 is outdated hardware for many 2020 games. Many games run at
30 fps on PS4. By the way, havenā€™t played a recent game with 30 fps for more than a decade. It feels just bad in comparison to 60 fps and beyond.

PC players would also have issues with most hardware from 2013, too, and had to ressort to low settings in most cases. Besides, the Unreal Engine 4 does scale very well. Many Unreal Engine 4 games can be played with older hardware.

PS4 Pro from 2016 should not be that outdated but it does not run at 60 fps. An average PC graphics card from 2016 like a GTX960 can handle medium settings at 60 fps.

Donā€™t play first person shooters with controllers and donā€™t play platformers with keyboard (and mouse)!
So donā€™t blame the game for all these PS4 related issues. It is just crazy playing a first person shooter with a controller. It is simply the wrong tool. There are PC players, too, who try playing hardcore platformers which keyboard + mouse. Thatā€™s the same craziness.

Choose the right human machine interface! The PS4 and its controller is definitely not the right human machine interface for a game like Predator: Hunting Grounds!

PS5 may solve it if it really gets reasonable mouse + keyboard support though. But why donā€™t buy a PC suited for gaming? Thatā€™s the right decision not these consoles.

Sure, a PC is a little bit more expensive at first. But it is not only for gaming. You can do so much more with it.

Games are much cheaper on PC (not initially but later on). You will get lots of games for free and in bundles. For example, each week, Epic has been given out great games for free.
Many of your favorite games will remain playable even if they are decades old. The backlogs of many PC players are extreme. Many PC players donā€™t even know all of their thousands of games. Playstation has got very bad compatibilitiy (in contrast to Xbox).

A PC may seem complicated at first but that actually trains your technical knowledge and your patience.

So stop complaining and get a PC!

No, you wonā€™t get the Jungle Hunter ('87) for the Epic version if you didnā€™t preorder it there. ;)

deactivate crossplay, and you no longer play with ps. and I find your statement about console players ridiculous and absurdly stupid. and do not forget that if this game exists it is thanks to sony and his ps4

Jeez, the superiority complex of some PC players is cringe inducing.

I donā€™t want to spend money on a shitty Windows PC. I have a Mac which I use for work (I work in the design industry where Macs are de facto, and I have a good working knowledge about maintaining them, and feel they are better made and far less hassle than traditional PCs).

I have a PS4 in my living room connected to a big TV. I donā€™t want to sit behind a desk playing a game, I like to stand or occasionally sit on the corner of the sofa while playing and leave the behind-the-desk stuff for my work life.

I know a keyboard and mouse setup is superior to a controller for FPS-style games, so my simple solution to that is to switch cross-play off. Let the PC master-race crowd play with themselves, and the ā€˜scrubā€™ PS4 players (or however you condescendingly refer to us) can play together by ourselves.

Also, good luck playing with any other type of players other than ps4 and pc players after the ps5 comes out Sony confirmed ps5 servers will not have crossplay till 2 years after release. Now go take your self pompous ass somewhere else

PC vs. PS4 players is nonsense.

This thread is not meant to bully anybody but the opposite.

Everybody can choose his platform as long as he can afford it.

It makes no sense playing first person shooters with controller just like it makes no sense playing hardcore platformers with a keyboard!

I tried playing PHG with my beloved Xbox controller. It is massively inferior to the mouse especially for the fireteam except for freeing from the net.

Ive lost to a total of 3 pc Preds, and Two full confirmed pc death squads. And when I lost to the pc death squads they escaped. Yall are nothing special.
The mouse and keyboard argument died a long time ago tbh. Console players have adapted and can now compete against pc players this is very evident with pc and ps warzone tournaments that have had ps players win.

This game also has shit for aim assist so all aim takes skill in this game. Even less skill to just point and shoot at something.

So basically the entire time you re-iterated that we should use a keyboard and monitor in slightly different ways.

I mean, I have a gaming PC, and it runs games pretty good, but I donā€™t think I would play P:HG on it. I usually only play slow games or arcade games on my PC, and just a few FPS games. I really donā€™t like playing FPS on my PC, because it requires a lot of wrist movement and I donā€™t have much space on my desk TO move around on, and god knows how much you would have to use your mouse to keep up with a scoutā€™s speed.

Now, with a PS4 controller, you donā€™t have to move your wrists at ALL. You can just use the right stick and the left stick, and boom! You can keep up with the predator with the minimal amount of wrist pain!

So please stop talking about how you have converted to the ā€œmaster raceā€, and let us play our thirty FPS game.

But unlike the insecure clown like yourself, I can afford both platforms and have no need to insult one platform over the other. I bought PS4 Pro just because of exclusives - thatā€™s literally THE ONLY reason to get a PS4, unless u also wanna pay for PS+ instead of having all other major platforms on PC (and only pay for your internet provided) , including superior framerate, visuals, constumisation in settings and ofc insane amount of mods depending on the title (f.e. GTA, Witcher 3, Cyperpunk 2077 (which will have mods aswel) etc).
