From my experience IN THAT GAME I found more toxicity coming from ps4 boomers compared to Pc hard core players. Also I can being friend with pc easly we have our discord with all experienced players and we have a lot of fun together. We have 2/3 full lobby almost all days. I have some ps4 players in my friend list like J2ezg50 and Schoolboy they are friendly too but I barely play with them because the time zone is different.

i think that even on the ps5 the game will run badly. Cause we have footage of the game with 3080 graphic card that still run very bad. Honestly after 6 months, I started to think that I would prefer to remove a lot of leaves from the floor and house’s details for improving the frame rate. I would prefer quality of life instead of graphic detailes.

Not really. We are talking about some “compatibility mode” JUST for crossplay. If you do not play crossplay, you just could ignore that mode and go on with the current setup. Example:
Let the people choose, whether they want to play “with crossplay OFF”, “with crossplay ON” or with “crossplay just with controllers”. Last option obviously is new.
Naturally, for such a situation, it would help to get another additional choice too: controller or m&k for consoles. I am with you here.
It is the very same idea alike adding the option “crossplay just with controllers” if you think about it. The latter allows those PC guys, who are willing to play with controllers, to have access to a bigger player base.
As it would allow those PS4 guys, who are willing to use m&k, to play with the other PC guys (m&k) in a crossplay, without getting frustrated.
But both solutions likely will not affect the majority, as the majority is PS4 - and I think the majority does not want to install a m&k in the living room - in front of the couch and TV (maybe this would be a nice survey too).
You furthermore have to take the programming efforts into account. Updating the PS4 to m&k does not make too much sense with the current 30FPS and all this blurring. Updating the PS4 up to the abilities, which PCs have at hand, might be to expensive for Illfonic - compared with the expectable success (the majority might ignore it and might just go on playing PS4 with controller and crossplay off).
This is why we ponder about simpler / intermediate solutions. Nobody says, that we already have found a satisfying one…
