So PS5 ships on the 12th of November, currently I’ve seen Days Gone’s official PS4/PS5 comparison videos and it looks pretty sweet in terms of frame rates! 60FPS really makes a difference and the draw distances have improved. Theyve only did this because the devs released a patch for improved performance on ps4 and ps5.
Anyone else seen any videos for any other games on PS4/PS5 differences?

Yeah I actually saw that one too, lots of reflective surfaces on buildings and PP’s facelift so to speeak.
I’m wondering about RDR2 if they managed to increase the performance and res on this one. So far i haven’t seen anything official.
Rockstar tends to keep things a secret till they happen. I believe it got a update or is getting one that is just for graphics and overall gameplay.
I also know rockstar is about to be greedy and force you to buy a new copy.
The only way I know this is my Local Gamestop Manager said that he received ps5 copies of GtA5 and RD2. And rockstar is know for making you re buy the same game so we will see
thats fucked up…sony even stated all their games on ps4 would be compatible. I bet they are the special special edition. If they had additional content I wouldn’t mind but its not like you can trade in your old one. and at the same time they would have to make you buy a digital edition remaster because some PS5 don’t have disk slots.
I’m anxious about RDR2 because the PC counter part is vastly superior and would like to see what they had done with the PS5 update if anything.
I bought the digital only version. And yeah sony did say that but Rockstar is super greedy so they will keep the updated graphics on the ps5 version but if you play the ps4 version you have the old graphics and probs cant play online. Rockstar is like EA they fucked
welp, yeah. I just saw some videos on it and the news isn’t spectacular for RDR2 at least not right now.
Since updates are on going though you never know they might change how it runs on ps5.
But from what i heard yes there will be no special enhancements made to the new version.
I’'m fairly doubtful I will buy PS5 so soon, i usually have about 2 years before i do it since there isn’t a list of games that blows my mind.
With GTA 5 you will get the ps5 update for free on the multiplayer side. If you want it in SP you will need to pay something.
Any game that has framerate cap, the ps5 won’t be able push past it meaning Predator wont hit 60fps on PS5, thats up to illfonic to make a uncapped framerate patch, or a ps5 upgrade but I doubt they would.
