screw it, this is like a consolation prize for all the bugs and everything that came with the full version of the game.
enjoy it while it lasts folks - once you reach a high enough level - the amount of credits you get from dupes creates a Veritanium loop.

Yeah reaching level 100 is pretty lack luster in my opinion, you stop earning crates so now you have to save up creds to buy the crates now, I can see people easily being bored after reaching 100

ight lemme explain lmao
throughout leveling you get crates (obviously), it seems these crates tend to favour duplicates more than new items by default. So eventually, you’ll hit a point where you’ll be getting duplicates for blue, purply pink and pink for 75V, 250V and 750V respectively.
When I hit level 90 I saved something like 34,000V (since I already owned all the cosmetic items I liked since level 30 or earlier lol) and purchased crates with
Veritanium til I had 10,000V left - I noticed after opening all these crates I I got 25,000V or something back (since I didn’t have as many of the rarer pink qualities yet)… so I rinced and repeated with this 25,000V, until eventually had around 10,000V again, I decided to save again, purchasing crates here and there.
Fast forward to level 100, I had something like 40 crates and another 25,000+V . Hitting 100 felt kinda lackluster so I popped on some YouTube vids, did the buying of crates down to 10KV and started opening 'em up - but this time when I had opened the last crate… my Veritanium was back where I started when I purchased - 25KV. I rinsed and repeated… as you can see the numbers just keep going up. Now purchasing crates from that 70,000-something Veritanium, I’ve ended up with 100k of the stuff.

yeah this is pretty much why I’m doing it lol - I hit 100 and didn’t realise that was it. No prestige or anything, just some new outfits for your FT classes :/
I’m not one to care about normal cosmetics since Overwatch destroyed that concept for me. I heard about the knife shaders and trophies you can get for Predz that aren’t listed - saw what was happening with this duplicate system and thought - “eh, why not?”
If this wasn’t happening though I wouldn’t be bothered haha
especially when they patch how much you can buy a crate for with in-game currency + change how much Veritanium you get back from dupes…
(which would make this worse than OW imo)
