Punish early quitters on FT

Make it so people who regularly quit as FT and ruin the game for the rest of the fireteam have to wait longer and longer to play the more they do it.

Pred quit doesn’t change anything but leaving the FT as 1 or 2 people ruins a lot of peoples games!

Pred quit makes the match totally pointless. 2 good FT members can take most preds.

u still get to play and complete the mission as FT, get your XP and VT… its no less pointless than killing the pred in 3mins and not doing any of the mission. probably get less XP/VT for that

2 GOOD FT may be able to take down a pred, but most FT are not that good and can barely aim… if FT quit they have 0 chance to do anything but die.

XP and VT are pointless. I am level 150 with over 6,000,000 VT. The fun in the game is to fight another player. If FT loses a player or two that’s fine, there are another few left. If Pred leaves, the match is instantly pointless.

again, im not talking about YOU, and your situation.

Doesn’t matter. Everyone is level 150, p. much. VT is pointless, p. much. Only thing FT wants to do is interact with Pred, whether to be hunted by or to hunt.

preds dont really quit anyway unless dead and then its already dead so doesnt matter…

Never seen a pred quit . see FT quit nearly every other match

only to people like us yeh, but believe it of not its some peoples first match or thjey are saving for an unlock etc

It sucks but you have to baby sit and try not to let the greenies die

As for people who quit before they die… Idk punishments are never the answer

i see way too many players with XP bonus perks and miniguns to believe that

and FT literally quit 50% of the time in QM cause they can get another game in less than a minute which is faster than waiting for reinforce

as a predator player i hate this cause half the time i’m waiting 10 minutes to get ina game and kill 2 people and then the game is over cause those 2 people quit cause i can’t judge how good a FT is until after the first encounter

and by then it’s too late

I’d be interested in seeing actual statistics of the median player level, but for your particular problem, seems like the solution is that if they show a potential noob trait like they have XP bonus perks, then don’t engage heavily on the first encounter seeking to eliminate a couple of them but instead to more poke and prod and see if it’s a feint from experienced players trying subterfuge?

Ha! So besides all the inherent balance advantages the FT have, Pred players should go easy on them at the start of the game just in case they’re not very good?

Perhaps if I didn’t have to deal with multiple speed running, Dante field medics I’d be open to this, but no - the Devs have made clear their approach to the two factions: Specialisations, melty weapons, and fast tanky DLC for the FT. Useless melee weapons and ‘pretty’ space vikings for the Preds.

If I get an FT player down at the start, I do my best to finish them off. If that means they quit, so be it. I’ve let my fair share of players reinforce (and still do). I’m not mollycoddling FT anymore.

ok. so then if there are dante field medics running don’t do the thing i suggested that would be a solution to multiple team members running what look to be potato loadouts with xp perks. congrats. you managed to figure out a way to do something that has nothing to do with what i said in my last post.

I’ve encountered shitty players running Dante Field medic, and very good players using standard assault. Never seen an ‘XP bonus’ equipped to my knowledge.

intelligence of pred mains in this thread is easily 10x that of intelligence of pred mains in the game, and yet every pred main post in this thread is drooling all over itself while scratching inside its nose with a pencil eraser. buff pred intelligence, ilffonic.

Oh wow, ok. You want to be all shitty about it. Fine.

No dude, I am legitimately amazed at your inability to parse a few sentences. You’re an anomaly. I’m interested in how your thought processes work. You’re sub homo habilus.

Just expressing my lack of enthusiasm for going easy on FT at the start, considering all the advantages the Devs keep throwing their
way, but yeah, call me an idiot anomaly. Edgelords gonna be Edgelordy.

lmao, ok. go hard early against all the FT players you see running XP perks and shitty equipment. If that’s what you’re saying you have to do to win a match against the FT, then you do what you gotta do man, skill level will sort itself out over time, and any pred that feels they’re up for more of a challenge that sees FTs running XP perks and shitty equipment can decide for themselves if they want to go hard or test the FT first.

That’s not what I said. I don’t check FT perks - sometimes I don’t check classes/specialisations until after the first encounter as I’m focused on getting to them as fast as possible.
