Parry crashing, ft damage amounts, etc.
Gonna put PHG to the side for a while until they fix the parry crash bug. I will be going back to Star Wars Battlefront 2 with the Boys. I’ll remain active here, just my visitation amount will heavily decrease and I will play PHG significantly less. Before any Git Guds I have been playing the game from day 1 (joined forum later), level 150, and normally enjoy playing the game even up until this point. I would continue to play PHG but I literally cannot due to the parry crashing bug. Due to that, I am going back to a game that can actually run and play without crashing. Cya all around in a while. May the force be with you all.

Yeah bro get over it. Super entitled of you to want a game that works after paying for it and receiving multiple patches that break the game even further. Can’t believe you’d want a functioning game dude

Is Battlefront worth picking up? Never played it
With the current price, yes. At launch price, hell no. It is a fun unpolished Star Wars fighting game. I enjoy it.
I should probably move this to off topic. What do you all think?
I think it has more polish than this game
If there is still a playerbase definitely
BF2 has more polish on that it is currently playable, but certain modes and teams can be unbalanced and namely hero abilities and attacks are somewhat janky. But, yes compared to this game, it is very well polished, but compared to most games it leaves a little to be desired in my opinion.
is alright dude. almost everyone is on the same boat. I stopped playing about a month ago and just play once or twice a week just a few matches if any friends are online.
Now it takes even a few minutes to get a match with a full FT so, this game is pretty much dead now.
I just hope they do release dedicated server software so people can continue playing this game long after they abandon it, because as of now, this game is likely going to go down as soon as they drop support for it

Agreed , they have to realease dedicated server for private. So they can finally drop the game but people could still play. Also when they decide to abandon this game they could finally nerf the stupid fireteam and make the game fair finally.

I went back to playing Destiny 2 for now until I see what performance is like when the PS5 comes out, not expecting much tbh though.
Yep, I’m playing much less at the moment. Played a couple of games last night. One, the FT speed ran the mission on excavation (one where they were mostly in the caves, so you can imagine what that was like from a Pred viewpoint). Got them down multiple times but couldn’t get near enough to get claims so they made it to extraction. Two, I won in the end but I lost count of how many times I knocked them down and they got back up again. I just felt I was having to put in a ridiculous amount of shots to wear them down.
I’ve been lucky in that I’ve not experienced the crashes (I use Elder sword which seems to be immune) but the balance is just ridiculous now. It takes very little skill to win as FT while the Preds have to work their ass off fighting bugs as well as the superhuman FT.
I can see that the skilled FT players are finding this frustrating also as it’s way too easy and they’d like at least some kind of challenge.
The only people celebrating are the really low skilled FT who can now fool themselves that they’re fucking FPS gods.
