Question regarding trapper perk

Does it affect the net gun or only bear traps…? I hope it helps with the net gun but would like to know for sure.

It does affect both.

The netgun is bugged tho. The fireteam can still shoot and use the knife while trapped.

Is it a bug or a ‘feature’ - I hate that a lot. I thought it’s intended as the tradeoff is the damage over time you take. Would love to see that fixed.
