Question to ya PS4 Pro Owners out there

I might upgrade to a PS4 Pro and was wondering if it makes Hunting Grounds look/run any better than vanilla PS4 Hardware, or if there’s any other Options to take advantage of??

Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

It looks better, however it still has performance issues…but the game has a lot of issues anyway

The only advantage I’ve seen with a PS4 pro so far is a bigger HDD. The jet engine fans still exist… I would wait for PS5.

I have a PS4 pro and it doesn’t make a sound. Maybe I’m just lucky when it comes to this.

It’s not so much this game, but in general. You try playing Modern Warfare, you will want to throw it out the damn window after 10 minutes.

i would wait for PS5 also. ps4 pro is better then ps4, but i would save up for a ps5 :)

I upgraded to a PS4 pro recently mainly for this game & it made a big difference for me personally in terms of visuals. Also playing on a 4K tv.
This game is not guaranteed to be a backwards compatibility game on PS5, since Sony mentioned their putting selected titles on back compat. Hope this helps.
I was also getting frame skips a lot on the base PS4, not so much on the pro. Hope this helps.

Unless you have a 4k tv w/ HDR I would hold out for a PS5 honestly, I say this as a PS4Pro owner

So hold on a second… the HDD isn’t Modular like the Vanilla Model!? If so, that’s harsh.

Actually yes, it definitely answered what it was looking for.

At least with Series X we’ll have full blown Backwards Compatibility. Sony is going to cherry pick what they want showcased, so you figure stuff like Final Fantasy 7 Remake and God of War will be available.

One last thing: Are there Settings for Fidelity in the Options for things other than 4K??

Thanks for your reply!!

My pro glacier white is very quiet. Im happy with it, but no clue if it has better performance in hunting grounds

It’s 1TB instead of 500GB i believe. That said; i’d replace that with an SSD any day of the week!

I’m sure the games published by Sony are on that list. Some old games might not be but this is new so I’m sure it will be backwards compatible.

I don’t recall seeing settings for Fidelity.

I believe Sony mentioned top 100 PS4 titles will be back compat on PS5. My PS4 pro will still have some use beyond the release of the PS5.
