Hello PHG forum

Question for april update
With Illfonic we always have surprises, sometimes nice but more often bad.

Some examples : Marshawn Lynch (Dante) and Valkyrie Predator (She remplace Isabelle)
I really like the Valkyrie but they could have warned us.
I think we’ll be surprised for the update April and the paid DLC.
I hope we have a good surprise and Isabelle in paid dlc

Today we have three challenger.

The first challenger, she come from Colombia, she’s a famous singer and she animated the the world football cup in 2010 : Shakira !!!

The second challenger, he come from France, he was voted best defender in 2017, 2018, 2020 and he’s known to break legs : Layvin Kurzawa !!!

The last challenger, he come from USA, he is a great basketball player, he has multiple trophies and he’s the lead actor in Space Jam 2 : Lebron James !!!

I voted Kurzawa because he was seen with Mia Malkova. in addition to football, he knows how to play with his fingers (Practice for Weapons) 😉

Cambiaron a isabelle por toda la especulación, creo, pero sin duda fue un guiño a los súper predator y la nueva ft en un futuro. Este mes el dia del lanzamiento de PHG deber de haber algo gordo, bastantes cambios y muchos errores, pero espero que nos den buenas skins.

They traded isabelle for all the speculation, I think, but it was definitely a nod to the super predators and the new ft in the future. This month on the day of the PHG launch there must be something big, a lot of changes and a lot of errors, but I hope they give us good skins.

That really isn’t the reason. Actors appear in multiple movies/media from different studios all the time. Warner Bros is not going to give a shit about her providing voice over work and a digital likeness to a niche game.

The topic is stupid because Illfonic they make stupid updates.

Damage, I wish I had Isabelle (I play sniper and it would be immersive) But especially Mike Harrigan instead of the Viking

All 3 choices make no sense and tbh I wouldn’t want to hear any of their voices in game.

In terms of their choice of Pred DLC, yes I’d agree. Space Vikings/Samurai that look more like Power Ranger villains than Predators are stupid.

I’m still dumbfounded as to why Danny Glover isn’t in the game

If they’ve gone to the trouble of doing all the work for the character likeness that means they likely already have a contract signed with her (and probably the voice work done as well). Most probably just Illfonic shuffling the release schedule for technical reasons or just simply to surprise people (as the silhouette of the character was guessed at almost immediately by fans).

Likely because he has no desire to do the voice work for it.

Would be odd having an elderly cop in the jungle as well.

Someone pointed out a plausible reason , they are trying to keep the nostalgic fans around longer by using alot of filler in between the movie skins . In a year they released two versions of one character , the preorder jungle hunter , elder and city hunter . So thats four skins in a year related to the movies , they surely have a handful more and they probably figure once people get the characters they want? Nobody would be interested in their other ones . So it’s a way to get enough skins sold as filler , its just a way to try keep fans hanging around 🤔

They are trying to extend the games life through cosmetics, rather than anything actually meaningful . So far anyway , could they turn it around? Yeah and I hope they do , its just I dont like the way they are doing it

It could explain alot , its the same with the lootboxes , making their rotation and workings so shit that you would need to play hours upon hours to even have a chance of unlocking a certain cosmetic you might want. They are doing everything they can to keep people hanging around , apart from balancing the game and making it more fun
