Questions to be asked during live steam (Poll)

About 20 questions have been compiled to ask illfonic during next week’s live stream. Please vote which one’s interest you the most (10 votes maximum) and i will ask them in the order reflecting popularity. I plan to address Illfonic before asking the questions in such a way,

“Hello Illfonic. Thank you for this play session and an opportunity to ask questions about the game. The forum community has selected 10-15 questions of interest. I would like to start asking questions in numerical order every minute and repeating the question thereafter if no answer was provided, in case the question was missed by you due to the running chat. Please provide an answer of some sort or a ‘no comment’ tag. Please confirm that you agree with this request. Thank you.”

Please comment on this approach. Maybe it would be better to avoid it since its not a formal Q&A session and just start asking questions from the getgo. Also, please comment on my phrasing of the questions; maybe it can be improved.

    1. What is your opinion about predator specializations proposed by the P:HG community?
    1. Is there a possibility of having a some kind of statistical/achievement tracker for player progress? (wins, stealth kills, successful exfils, etc.)
    1. Is Lt. Mike Harrigan a possible DLC character?
    1. Will the predator eventually be getting some tech seen in AVP? (shuriken, laser grid, blue disintegrating liquid, etc)
    1. Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise?
    1. Please comment on how balance between fireteam and predator is measured?
    1. Will daily challenges be religated to Hunt mode only?
    1. What is your opinion about making private matches customizable? (no perks, friendly fire, etc)
    1. Will field locker ever incorporate newer items?
    1. Will we receive newer field lockers or ways to buy cosmetics with veritanium?
    1. Are there any plans for a single-player mode?
    1. Will we be able to customize predator equipment such as plasma caster and wrist blades?
    1. Anything you can share about when the new mode will be available?
    1. Do you plan to add more specific voice lines for each predator class?
    1. Are there any plans for a city map?
    1. Is there a possibility to have a community beta server for updates so bugs, glitches, etc, can be found by the community prior to release?
    1. Why isn’t there a full ps4 pro patch for 4k/60 HDR support as well as sp5 patch?
    1. Is it possible to get an all out stability update for all devices (notebook, desktop, pc, and ps4/ps5)?
    1. Is it possible to incorporate a dynamic resolution scaler into P:HG for more stable frame rates?

I feel like you’d probably get an answer to the performance questions but a lot of the time its “we’ll pass your message on”

They already confirmed they can track all stats since the game is serversided. But I honestly think they hate working with UI. They don’t even want to give us numbers for perks so I doubt we’d get a stat tracker

i would’ve probably added the question

that a dev has mentioned melee isn’t intended to be the main playstyle of predator (meaning he isn’t intended to take out an entire FT with one) so why have you consistently nerfed ranged options and added new melee weapons? instead of ranged weapons? and given FT more dmg increase/decrease options to further invalidate a melee focused playstyle

good question, but next time perhaps. poll allows for only 19 items to be in it. i guess i can do multiple polls but it will be tricky with number of options; im sure the answer is: because XD

Try these ones.

When are we going to get a content overhaul of some sort? (Both balance and game design)

When are we gonna get balance changes that arent simple number changes?

When is preds melee gonna be not janky?

When will we get more equipment/utility for predator?

When is the predator game gonna feel like an actual predator game?

Blah blah blah.

Most of your questions feel like they are cookie cutter and have blatant answers. But honestly theres not much point in asking real questions either because Sony is gonna keep them tight lipped. Unless something drastic ive missed has significantly changed with the devs, or the game. But I doubt it.

ill add them to the list for next time; not sure how its going to go. if it goes somewhat smoothly, ill ask as many questions as i can, but for now its whats is in the poll. itll be a learning experience as to which questions will yield a real answer.

If its anything about the content they have upcoming, they arent gonna say shit unless sony wants them too.

Most other questions should be fine but the only other ones you can really expect to get an answer to, we already know the answer to.

Also sorry if I came off rude in the last one.

don’t worry about :)on this forum anything goes.

i’m suspecting that some questions will not be answered but im giving a chance to any question form the community for the first time. i dont want to go in having assumptions without anything to back them up. it will be a learning experience for me and those who asked the questions as to what to expect.

Well ill be impressed if you get past the “we cant say” stage. Ive been pretty much brickwalled here by them every time.

Though I respect them for saying its sony thats got them leashed on the info. Most other companies wont even give you that.

as long as i get some sort of reply ill be happy. it would be nice if there was an actual Q&A session and we could pick someone from the community to conduct it. it would be better organized and would allow for follow up questions. plus, Illfonic may also let us know which questions to steer away from.
