When still very young their main colour is brown, and strips are usually caramel with black surroundings. With age, main pattern stays the same, but all colours change - main colour is now jet black with yellow or white strips. Love those snakes.
EDIT : My error, sorry team - both bottom photos are of young Kali. I’m looking for a good Ishtar pick when she was still a babie
