I still think we do need moderators, I never once volunteered for the job. I like not having to babysit.

I’m not the one who replied about closing a thread cause I didn’t want to be wrong.

Got in a match againt 4 ps4, killed one, 3 of them quit…ok…

Just remove the level cap so everyone has a reason to stay until the match finishes.

Instead of having punishment, you should have rewards. That’s how animals are trained.

It really comes down to what people constitute a “rage quit” as well.

I’ve seen people want to punish anyone that leaves the game, at any time. That is just ridiculous.

There is not (or shouldn’t be) any harm in leaving:

  • If you are dead after reinforcements have been called. (FT)
  • If you are the last to die. (FT)
  • Once you die as Predator.

In relation to XP concerns regarding claims, etc. There are other ways to resolve these issues that does not involve punishing players who want to get on with the next game.

I’m very much in agreement with what @JelouGaming has said.
There needs to be more rewards and incentives for staying.

Other than challenges, our FT groups now leave as soon as the Predator is dead.
We don’t need the XP. The win provides us nothing of benefit.
Unless we’ve stumbled across 500+ Veritanium during the game, it’s generally not worth the time.

The sooner the FT queues back up, the sooner another Pred gets a game as well.

I don’t like the way FT players quit… I also don’t think we need quitting penalties.

I don’t think they will work, even if instituted with the best of intentions.

Lastly I think both sides in the debate above made good points but only reinforced my opinion that it would just annoy people or take time away from something else no matter how small an amount.
That energy figuring out how to do it and doing it could do something better.

I dunno this is pretty harsh. I’d say 15 to 30 minutes of Fireteam only, and 15 to 30 minute suspension. Continued quits from a Predator should warrant no Biomask for a sum of matches.
