I’ve speculated a long time that atmospherics like rain and fog, if done right would be an exceptional inclusion to PHG. However, to include that means to make a very over cast, baked in shadow elemental to the shadow mapping. No dynamic shadows because leaves in overcast skies don’t have shadows at least not a massive one.
That said, maybe this could be the new traversal they were talking about.
No dynaimc shadows, means lots of room for rain, thunder strikes, and mini vortexes…
It would make for some dynicamic plays and using these as covers means that predator can’t see you much if at all.
Lightning can blind both parties but may cause predator to loose all energy reserves.
Making thermal useless.
Rain gives all FT the Amphibious (mudded up almost exclusively all the time) perk for free added to whatever they got on already.
How would this benefit predator you ask?

Guess. You can’t use much however…the fog .My god the fog of war would be so intense you wouldn’t need it!
Snipers wouldn’t be able to spot much at all.
Near and far fog is a must based on distance but this should also include elevation. All brand level much be in fog as well!
