Random Ingame events

I’ve kind of thought of this for a bit. But as we all obviously know it’s Humans against a Predator. I’ve been thinking though, but what if they added random events in a match that somehow went against both sides. Things that may or may not happen in a match. Something that’s a rare occurrence like a 20% chance to happen in the game.

Bad Blood invasion: An AI Predator that is there to cause a problem for everyone in game. If you don’t know what a “Bad Blood” is, it’s a predator that has basically gone rogue to the customs of the Yautja. They don’t follow the code, murderers of their own kind etc… this AI Predator would go after both the Predator and the Humans. Each side would be indicated of its presence by a a very loud thunderous roar. It’s only a matter of time to see who he gets to first. If the Predator kills it they’ll get an xp boost and maybe even an extra loot box. Same for the fireteam as well.

Cartel Helicopter attack: Its possible that when the fireteam is at a objective there is a chance that a helicopter might spawn to intercept them and serve as a mini boss. If the helicopter sees the predator. The passengers will open up the doors on the sides and fire at the Predator while the main helicopter gun fires at the fireteam. Same premise. Whichever team kills it, gets xp and a loot box.

Artillery strikes: There’s a chance that artillery could strike at a certain section of the map near either the Predator or Fireteam. Get out of the radius or find cover til it’s over.

Single team encounters.

(Predator)

OWLF operatives: A group of Owlf enforcers might track down the predator and start to attack it when it’s in their sight. Predator kills them for bonus xp.

Random large Animal encounters: Predator is a Hunter right? It appears they’ve hunted other things on earth other than Humans before. Why not add an animal to the map the Predator can go and hunt down and take its skull for some additional xp.

(Fireteam)

Special forces ambush: Fireteams tend to just go straight through the jungle to get from point or point. These guys could be hiding behind trees, in bushes, or up in trees. They are placed specifically to ambush the fireteam while they are in the middle of passing through.

Hostage situations: The Commander can tell the Fireteam Intel says there are hostages tied up at a specific location. It’s not on mission, but it wouldn’t hurt to do. Go there kill the enemies and untie the hostages and send them to a rescue chopper location.

These were just some jotted down ideas. None of these are really meant to completely derail the flow of a game. They are just there to fill in the space of the some repetitive flow. And one encounter could happen ONCE to each team. And only one overall encounter could happen once a match.

Chance of team specific encounter: 10% chance.
Chance of world encounter: 20% chance.
