Ranked Matches?

Some people are saying ranked matches will fix the game, Im still thinking about it what do you guys think

too small playerbase to split into ranks.

Already a long queue time imagine then dividing that into seperate ranks.

if we had 50 million players like COD then yeah

Ranked for a game like this tho honestly wouldnt make much sense if you ask me. Dead By Daylight has a “Ranking system” but it’s more like a built in ELO. Something like that would make more sense but once again, thatd make queue times a lot longer trying to find players at your specific ELO instead of general matchmaking. I couldnt even imagine.

Also people are saying que up times are a glitch. It will just stay in matchmaking forever or it will place you in a 2 player lobby

I feel like there is definitly something up with the matchmaking for sure. There are a lot of times when it will try to connect to a game and fail to do so. They might have to look into the matchmaking system itself to make sure that all the bugs are kinked out of it. Because I do believe there is something a little bit off to it.

there are some issues with matchmaking for sure. But its still mostly to do with a 4 to 1 player need. simple maths says if 1000 people are waiting for predator then you need 4000 waiting to play fireteam.

Then you have people stopping the search and trying again cuz it gest stuck, that interupts the matchmaking algorythm, then you have people leaving a lobby cuz yeh they sometimes just glitch and never fill up. then you get in an empty lobby…

If they fix the issues it will be a lot better but it still will be a longer wait for pred than fireteam. just because maths.

I think thats because say its found a predator to match you with, but then as you are being placed/conencting, the predators is still on searching for 15mins so he cancels… or maybe hes been in that exact empty lobby for 5 mins already and just quits because no one has turned up. that messes your game up and then it all starts again.

They do need to fix these problems for sure.

Its far perspective. Obvious the Predator queue become endless with this.

I think ranked could be good, or at least profile statistics (considering also all game done yet) so we can play to improve these maybe.
