im overal very happy with the changes. Had some really ballanced wins/losses and i think the stats the devs get will reflect that.

I still got steamrolled because i cant parry the combistick cuz i suck at that and have not learned how to do it well. but other than that. palying pred feels more rewarding and playing fireteam actually feels scary and u have to work together!

The limited heals and ammo makes it a ballance of stay and fight or move on and look for supplies / finish mission.
Not having so many fireteam trying to solo the pred any more.
Not saying there are not going to be some people that try that. and iv been chased in 2nd wind and killed… but not over and over this time.

All in all, iv had a really good day playing both pred and FT.

(i think the change to the grenade launcher firing mechanic went too far though, that can come back as it was)

Totally agree with you buddy. Had a proper blast tonight as the Predator for the first time since the trial, and I also had a fair few wins and losses. I love the Hunter classs and even though Im level 100 and got the Zerker, I just cant part with my hunter class and proper kicked ass with him this evening.

Illfonic have certainly done a really good job with updating the game in such a short space of time, and for a team of 30-40 or so staff, I think they’ve done a fab job. Yeah, some people are going to complain and kick off, and some are never going to be satisfied with both Fire team and Predator, but I for one am going to stick with the game for sure.

To be honest, I didnt realise there was so much hate here in the comunity until recently. I had to turn off voice chat yesturday as I was called a cheat twice. I didnt have a clue why either until I saw that PS4 players have issues with certain PC players because of hacks etc. If there are PC players out there that do that then shame on them really, as there spoiling the game for people like me lol.

Anyhow, rant over. Also nice to see a fellow Britt too on here. ;)

I’ve been enjoying games as well. Most of mine are back and forth with me killing between 0-3 fireteam members before they escape. Its fun. Ones were just one escape are my favorite matches.

i agree. while i never really abused the parry mechanic before, it’s nice seeing the pred not getting stun locked all the time lol on the flip side, i still think the pred may need further adjustments when it comes to melee.

i still cant parry the combi stick well. how do you know when to press it, is anyone getting the prompt ?

there’s a prompt but i was never able to get it to work as easily as everyone said. people were saying to just mash the melee button and you’d win, but i’d maybe have a 20% to parry whenever i tried lol
