Reaper Predator?

My Pred clan member gave me a theme.
I tried my best to approach is from a logical standpoint.

This is the concept.
The Reaper Predator is a tracker.
Where there is death, he is not far behind.

Using a Historical War Scythe.
And a Crow.
This Predator unleashes this animal.
Where it will track down recently killed AI.
Calling to it’s owner, luring them right to his prey.
This replaces the thermal vision for this predator.
Since the Reaper predator is blind.
Relying heavily on SOUND.
The sound range is limited to a certain distance.
The reaper Predator can hear gunfire from afar easily.
But if the FT were to use silent weapons, or knives.
The crow will aid in closing these long gaps if a single bullet is never shed.

The Crow can also find Boars for the Reaper Predator.

This Predator wears armor and bone.
And would be just under a Berserker class.

This was just for simple fun.

But, if you could create a completely new and original class type with it’s own weapons.
What would that be?

Ow the edge he even has a scythe the edgiest weapon known to man.

A blind beserker sounds hilarious. I’m all for it though normal vision is too good.

Even though I don’t play pred, this sounds fit for me. Can’t quite put my finger on why though. 🤔

I don’t see how the blindness would work mechanically but other than that it sounds cool. I mean I can get seeing through the crow’s eyes instead of thermal but would normal just be a black screen with sound blips or like Daredevil’s radar sense? lol.

Imagen our normal thermal vission only black and white.

So yes the entire screen would be black.
But every loud step of the Predator sends out a wave that lights up the surrounding area.
Even the preds purring sounds when near AI and Ft.
The more movement and sound from the predator and everiment, the more consistent the waves light up the area.

So even if a Ft was standing completely still.
If the predator moves around them.
The predator will still see them.

Even the Fts own footsteps will send waves, helping to light up the enviroment.
So this predator isnt completely blind unless there is absolutely no sound.
Which is unlikely.
AI will make sound.
Boars will.
Missions and explosions will.
Footsteps and especially gunfire.

The hunt part is finding the Ft first and not letting them get to far.
With the challange of being a close range predator.
Youd have to account for new tactics.
A throwing disc would be complicated.
But you cant just rush in with a combi stick either.

But again this is all just concept fun though.
This would never make it into the game. Lol

So yeah like how echolocation and daredevil’s radar sense are depicted in most media. Would be interesting. I have an abnormal love for mythologies about Reapers or other depictions of Psychpomps among other things so I’d certainly give it a go even though I would probably suck even worse with it, lol.

Never know until you try.
Maybe oneday we could convince illfonic of such a predator.
It sure make map layouts more interesting to explore.

I’m in love with the concept of using a crow (or anything else for that matter) to detect recently killed. I would love that to make in to the game, I can see me using this all the time, rather than isolation scan
