Players should get stronger and quicker indication when they select a starting position on the map. Right now we dont get any feedback more than that the boxes light up after a couple of seconds to indicate your choice, but maybe your name should be seen over the selection as well to indicate you have made a choice and where.
Also a quick sound to indicate that your selection was made would be great in case you’re unsure the selection took effect or not.
