Reinforcement is no longer a problem. Enough.

What you are now describing is a gamedesign that doesnt work properly. Thats what they did here, they have made a mechanic that doesnt make sense,first of all, and is very hard to balance.

If the Reinforcement soldiers are replaced by lets say…a Recruit wearing a Assault rifle(ironsights,decent damage), 1 syringe for themselves, they ar emore than capable to survive till the end.

I dont want them to come back with the same loadout and perks, giving me a snipershot or a nadelauncher when i BARELY killed them off the first time,becasue they were good or has OP weapons that melts the Pred.

ITs not fun man, and as it stands now, a Pred cannot stop a reinforcement form happening, thats VERY rare.

It seems you and I are at an impasse. It does not seem to me that the weapon is now melting a predator. The calculated jump into the fray almost always pays off and you don’t die later, everything is so good that I refused first-aid kits in my build, but I’m sure that there is a compromise that will settle both sides, we just haven’t reached this point.

Yes, there you go, well said. Thats what im seeing in this game, FT using mechanics a Predator cannot counter. Nerf the Reinforce, make it a “second chance” for the FT, using a standard loadout. This way they can still play, they can support the mission, and they can damage the Pred. Im not saying give them BB guns, give them a devent assault rifle, and no perks. They can still kill a Pred, no problem.

Done, deal, love it.

The predator doesn’t need more lives though it’s already got its own advantages that can completely decimate a FT and no I’m not talking about berserker + combistick. Lately I’ve been playing FT to try and get more money and each time I play no matter how good my team is and if everyone has a Mic someone always gets downed either by and an arrow to the head or by a PC shot after we’ve been attacked by the AI. Once a single FT member is downed the predator has the advantage. Sure the FT can reinforce but they have to decide when to do so and doing so will cost time since the radio is in (in my experience) the complete opposite direction of the objective. Also as the predator you can use the perk that allows you to see muddied footprints. I know for me this has helped me easily track down the FT so I get a good sense of where they are. I know it can be frustrating to deal with a reinforced FT but it’s also equally frustrating when you go up against a pro predator that uses their tools and can easily wipe your entire team in less then 2 minutes.

Not to say the reinforcements is any where near perfect but the at the very least the FT should be reinforced with the exact ammo and hear they had when downed not back to full strength

The Reinforce mechanic is in this game, and alot of players dont like it, including me, change it, or remove it, and find some other way to “strengthen” the FT without ruining the game.

I would love to see AI bosses, or hell, even let the dead players be gunners on a chopper circling the map or soemthing.

Just…DONT…ressurect the same soldiers i just removed the skulls from…it pisses me off.

I don’t like the fact of “Resurrection from the air”, I don’t like that this is stage 1, that is, come and hit the radio with your fist. If you had to get to the meeting place with a helicopter, would it be … more logical? If you can weaken the arsenal of reinforcements, then you can, I think, leave them devices for weapons, but the gun itself will be the first in the shooting range that the player chose, so the sniper player will not have to run with a gun and will get the first sniper rifle available to the player.

I’d say when players get reinforced they have 1 syrette, only the secondary weapon and 1 random grenade or consumable.

Even that is better,yes. FFS,they are getting a second chance, even tho the Pred bested them, its not a punishement, its a reward.

Usually when we are up against a hunter or scout and we get the reinforcement, we go guns blazing because we know the Predator is out of resources.
The only time we don’t go guns blazing is when we are playing against a Berzerker who barely used a syringe.
Basically after the reinforcement is complete there’s no more fear to deal with.

You can also divide the game into 2 stages, the first is 2-3 minutes after the start, if the predator killed you 3 before this time, guys, you are too bad, you can’t even take their devices away from them, after 2-3 minutes fines start equipment. If you called for reinforcements just before the evacuation, then you get just 3 goblins that were created solely to accompany the only survivor.

True, and i see that as a MASSIVE fail in gamedesign considering this is a 1vs4 game using humans and a Predator. Not ever should the FT think like that.

I attempt to get 1 kill ASAP to force an early reinforcement call. Late game issue solved.

I do think reinforcements should have half or NO items at all.

What doe you think Second wind is? You’ve got unlimited lives (with a cooldown), all you got to do is GTFOOT…

Dude eat boars they spawn wherever the fireteam is closest to… I barley ever use my med kits by of boars… sometimes

Therefore, I don’t take them, heh.

You are left with one less item and half your health, and have to either take the new fully replenished fireteam on with that - because by the time you’ve found a boar and eaten it, they’ll be back to full, and healed because the FA kits are very convenient.
I was the numpty who got taken out first in a match, because I was too damn slow and didn’t react quickly enough when I heard the thump behind me. Got res’d, and it felt like the cheapest thing ever. Totally against it as FT player.
Also, the reinforcement and chopper called notifications are huge and obstructive.

That’s what the nerfs and buffs in last patch tried to balance out. And a good predator can cover pretty long distances in 10 seconds

I like the idea of being able to destroy the reinforcements radio like you can ammo/health packs as a Predator. This way the FT has to decide if they sit tight and wait for the reinforcement mission (which may or may not even pop depending on if the radio was gone) or take the risk and push on with the mission.

I think everyone is getting caught up in the flavour of the mechanic. Yes, you ripped out their spine and he’s dead, but he came back, ooo resurrection. its not the same person, its another member the same player gets to use. If you are so annoyed by the same loadout being used, why not have two loadouts unlocked at the start, so when reinforcements come, you can choose which loadout you want to be, thereby its a new person you can kill.

Does that still not work? Is it because of the reinforcement mechanic itself? Then talk about that.

See, you can’t make the reinforcements too weak. Otherwise there is no point at all. spending precious time bringing someone back who can’t fight the predator and will be the first to die when he attacks again is pointless. Might as well remove it altogether, as only premades will use it to get their friends back for another minute. Make it take a minute to respawn, with the helicopter and all, but no ping notification for the predator telling him where, just that it is happening. And make it so that the entire fireteam needs to be in the vicinity for the timer to go down.

And why not give the predator a respawn as well. Sent in with the mission to restart the self destruct and then escape. You have the speed to escape the blast radius, so you can stay a bit to make sure the fireteam can’t stop it again before bounding away.
