Reinforcement is no longer a problem. Enough.

I was the person who was one of the first to scold this decision of developers. Now I feel a residual wave of anger at this mechanic, although its problem has already been de facto solved.

Let me remind WHY this was a problem: With a huge amount of treatment and ammunition, resurrected people often became unjustifiably stronger than a predator who lost an extremely limited supply of first-aid kits by killing them for the first time.

Now the last thing I’m worried about in a predator is that I don’t have enough health, I can focus on strategy and finding weak spots in the enemy system.

Boars are always not far away, step back and replenish health, it will be FASTER than treating yourself with a first-aid kit and QUIET.

Now, reinforcement as a mechanic does not create any problems or inconveniences. On the contrary, I am glad if one of the opponents goes to resurrect allies.

IF the Fireteam is good, and you spend a good amount of time and effort bringing 2 of them down becasuse they are a pain to deal with, and you FINALLY manage to kill some of them, it becomes a problem.

Had my fair share of losses because of that, spent alot of time killing 3 of them, only to see the 4th has mudded up and ran off to start the reinforce, and i cant stop it. Im out of arrows, medkits and patience, because they were dug in like alabama ticks…sorry.

EDIT: They still have more than enough healing and ammo, removing 1 of each wasnt even close enough to make the FT break a sweat.

yep you hit the nail on the head with this. its a free second chance for doing badly. well not in the case of a pred who zergs his way in. but yep the predator downs kills and claims everyone just for me or someone to run to a radio and be like eh no worries your resurrected by the power of radio waves come back to life oh chosen ones. know what i mean? thats how stupid this is … lol

I honestly do not understand how you play, my friend, prioritization? How did you manage to spend 30 arrows to drop two? 2 arrows drop the scout. Another 3 arrows finish him off. Total 5. You kill the support soldier in the melee in the LAST turn. I met both teams with voice communication, and teams that played through in-game chat and … I still do not see a problem in resurrection. The resources of the predator are replenished, except for the mask, and gadgets, of course.

You can’t say, “You do it because bad teams play against you.”, No, it’s impossible according to probability theory that for 30+ games a night, I’ll get nerds 30 times. It doesn’t work that way.

Yes … I understand what you mean and the helicopter landing animation would be more concise, and it would not be a nerf of mechanics but … now I would like to expand the concept and tools, I am ready to tolerate radio zombies in a game.

Its a figure of speech, point is, if the FT is GOOOOOOOD…and i mean 4 premades who played CoD since before they were born, having them come back is just a pain in the ass when you struggled to get them down.

If reinforce is to be balanced, bring them back as basic soldiers, NOT the Loadouts from the player. Like the Recruit in Rainbow 6 Siege.

LEt them come back, as MP5 wearing recruits, just enough to let them play on without waiting,and not beeing able to stomp on the Pred who LITERALLY just pulled their spines out.

Then i’ll accept it. I dont wanna deal with a good sniper who got my mask off twice, i killed him first for a reason.

Well dude, you yourself see your problem now. “I DO NOT WANT” to deal with a good sniper. The point here is not the mechanics of the rainforcement, but the stupid system of marks, this is now the only thing in the hands of people that I would weaken in terms of functionality. It should be a pointer and not a fucking wallhack! I already played at night against the team that saw me 85% of the match, and I don’t even know it was cheaters because it was a party of PC players or it was their scout that simply monitored my presence.

Sorry what? I myself…listen mate, what im saying here is logical, and balanced. Why should i have to deal with the SAME player, regardless of what class he plays, twice? Why?

Send him back in as a recruit, and im more than happy to fight him. Send him back in with his own loadout,gear and stock, and i get annoyed.

Agree to disagree then, i find this “mechanic” to be something they threw in there to avoid FT whining to be honest, nothing more.

I’ve been trying this recently instead of outright killing FT members you just keep downing them. You keep doing this through the match that way by the end they have no healing items and don’t have enough time to call for reinforcements if you do end up killing one of them. Add to the fact that they would have used up a lot of ammo during all of this and will have to fight the AI with diminished health.

Good. Let’s say I accept your idea with “recruits.” then there are huge problems with the balance of people, think for yourself, Submachine Gun. in the game are useless, they are not just taken. You offer players to give out the weakest and most basic set of equipment and literally hang a target on their back, even my idea with a fine for maximum health, as in Evolv, sounds better because people still have a chance to fight you back, with a basic set of soldier’s equipment, this same AI in terms of damage.

YOu dont control that, they do. Ive seen in several matches that they dont revive downed players, its easier to leave him, becasue he is out of supplies anyway. It an be used as a strategy. They could be on discord talking.

See the problem? FT does this, ive seen it, and it isnt fun. Mud destroys heat vision, if they wanna escape and run off and let their buddy bleed out, then can easily do that, we CANT see them, and by the time we figure that out, we got roughly 10 seconds to stop it.

There is certainly a bit of a cheesy, but honest option. Make the spawn of the radio random and give the predator the opportunity to break it. If you found it on the map, you are well done and you can stop it from calling for reinforcements. If you have not spent time on this, your problems. I am against taking away equipment from players. Firstly, this is not fair because a player who built his own style of play and chose perks is forced to run half the game with what he does not want to see in his hands. Secondly, predators do not prey on unworthy prey. and the player with the submachine gun is the most unworthy prey in the game.

This is “reinforcement” and not “Meat shield,” I refer to it as “These are other soldiers just with the same weapons.” That’s all.

Im beeing unfair for taking away their loadout gear…but let them come back to life and try again?

Again, they DIED…so in this game we have “lives”, cool cool…give the predator more lives then,and eveythting is balanced right?

OK, gonna end it here, i disagree wholeheartedly. They are beeing ressurected in this game, i dont care how anyone wraps this up, its still “lives”. Then i see no reason for the Pred not beeing able to call out his buddies who wears the exact same gear to take over once he goes down.

No, this will not be balanced because the predator is currently stronger than any 1x1 soldier.

You are concerned about the very fact of resurrection without fines, I understand that.

But if you remove the reinforcement, the completely predator will no longer need the brain, only a combi-stick and a berserker.

If you make reinforcements much longer in time, the predator will just come and kill you.

If you hang too strong fines, the resurrected players will instantly die.

Yes, I understand that this is not a resurrection. But what prevents you from accepting this as “Other soldiers with the same weapon”? I mean … if their model is replaced by the same recruit from the rainbow, will you be satisfied?

Lmao, the 4th one mudding up and going for the reinforce with a knife in his hand is me. I don’t use the knife for parrying because I can’t parry well on PS4 and is a loss of time, but I use it for the speed bonus.
I’m sorry but it’s like the only thing I can do when I’m the last one standing.
The reinforce is good, on paper, but it needs a nerf big time.
I’ve seen many good Predators losing games because of the reinforcement mechanic, many times because of me being the one reinforcing, but what choice do I have in that moment…
I think that the reinforcement mechanic exists so that the game can last longer and not end in the first 2-5 minutes. But it’s game changing in most situations.
Sometimes , when a good Predator really tries to play well there’s always the reinforcement ready to flex on him unfortunately…

OR it is possible to implement reinforcements so that soldiers return in the form of special fighters. squad, that is, actually collected for hunting a predator. having killed the first detachment, the predator has already won and victory is counted towards him, but he may try to cope with the “Boss” or retreat and accept a smaller reward for lower risks.
