Does anyone know if the mechanic for the reinforcement radio has changed so that now if the last FT members are downed, it will stop the reinforcement timer even if they are close to the radio?
Or maybe if the range that the FT has to be at in order to keep the timer active has been reduced?

Just happened to me the guy got downed with a second left on radio and nothing happened
Was he right at the radio when he was downed?
You have to be on your feet and within the blue sphere on the minimap to receive reinforcements, if you are downed, they ain’t coming.
I am pretty sure that in the past I have downed FT and then plucked them right after reinforcements popped, in order to keep it a 1v3.
Do we know if this was changed? Or maybe I should go back through my videos and double check?
you’d have to go back as in my experience it’s always been the way Drakos described it if your downed the timer does not stop for you to die so you can get the rez and the timer doesn’t continue if the person on the radio is downed
Had a couple games now where I’ve downed the FT near the reinforcement radio and they have appeared, it’s funny though because it will reinforce and you instantly kill the one you downed so they are still not at full strength. Also when you are playing FT you now get a blue circle showing you where to remain for reinforcements I don’t remember that being there before
This is what I remember as well, and I am pretty sure I have used that exact tactic to keep it a 1v3.

Yes, downing an ft while reinforcements are incoming and waiting to kill him until after they arrive is a smart play, I do it all the time. But if you down the man on the radio, FTs will not reinforce unless someone comes into the radio sphere effective range.
Edit: if the timer completes and then you down the man on the radio, the fireteam still reinforces
Yes, I just found the instance I was thinking of. One had gone to the radio and I had found the last remaining FT hidden away and that was the one I plucked.
It was not the guy at the radio.

It’s a nasty tactic but I use it all the time, annoying when you are playing FT and someone does it to you but you know karma.
I don’t have any issues with tactics I use being used against me. It’s a game, win lose or draw, I have fun.
i can confirm that if downed the radio is on stand by
It all really depends on the match for me. If its a hard fought match, I’m letting as few reinforce as possible. If its a steamroll, i’ll make sure they all get back in.
In a game I played yesterday if a FT is downed but still in the radius it will let the timer go continue and reinforce the FT if he is being claimed however the timer stops
Was there perhaps another FT alive elsewhere? How large is the radius?
I thought this too which is why I made this thread, but have been seeing the opposite in game.
FT downed seems to be pausing the radio. Unless the radius to keep it active is pretty small?
