Reinforcements are overdue a rework.

If they shoot you as you come down you’d be dead by ground level how is that reinforced at all

You drop pretty quick. A Predator might get one shot or two shots on a moving target.
Assuming they aren’t trying to deal with other FT members on the ground, or the AI as well.

It’s one of the dangers of hot-dropping into an active combat zone.

But it’s probably the easiest thing to just turn on/off as well. :)
Many people are clearly leaning towards reinforcements being ‘too strong’, so this is one way of allowing players to be reinforced, but providing a few downsides, so it’s not just a ‘free life’.

You could also have them take reduced damage while dropping in.

If they engage the radio instead of going for the gear then yes I agree with half gear and bullets, but if they get a drop that refills traps and meds then fireteam should have the same, also saw someone say about a halfway time limit for reinforcements and if they added the drop of gear for predators then half of the way through or so would be still that same rush of the fight and maybe that would revive the fear part or at least the rush of the battle

If for whatever reason this awful mechanic has to stay in the game to stop the salty kids from rage quitting, then I suggest that there be multiple reinforcement stations scattered around the map, each one only bringing one person back at a time. So if you want to bring back your whole team, you’ll have to go throughout the map taking a risk, for a high reward.

So just cause you’re downed all of a sudden you become immune to damage?
The fuck kind of logic is that?

It’s annoying at times, but not enough to remove it.
Having quick claims forces the ft to have to make sure
If someone goes down, you HAVE to be there to cover them.

Game balance logic.

That’s not balance.
It would be completely unfair.

No one should ever become immune to damage.

That’s the case make it so pred cant be killed in second wind. Sounds stupid right?

Second Wind needs reworking. Like, “Hey I’m fucking dying here and need health!! Look!! A pig!! But nah, can’t kill it because I would prefer my Yautja steroids first,”. You should at least be able to kill a pig while in second wind so that afterwards when you’ve healed you can go back and top up on some bacon. How hard would it be to enable blades to attack only boar? Only the Devs know😉

I would agree with you if the FT could actually do something while down, like shoot a weapon, throw grenades, or use a field syrette to revive themselves… or maybe parry a quick claim attempt. (That would be nice)

I think the whole idea behind second wind is like a predator life support. I remember reading that the explosion cauterizes the wounds and the bright color is a temporary shield. The predator is too week even to kill a boar, and maybe activating the blades would disable the shield that is keeping the predator alive.

So remove quick claims AND just shamelessly suggest making downed players outright invincible while they sit on their super generous downed timer & pred cannot interact with the downed person at all without suiciding. Probably the most fun and interactive gameplay for a downed/revive system ive ever seen yikes.

So pred just has to dance around the invincible downed players hitbox and wait for people to revive so he can down each person on a four man team 3 times wow sounds incredibly fun you made something far, far worse than FT’s killing themselves to regroup at reinforcements.

I think FT should just keep respawning as weakened AI characters until all humans are dead or pred is

Pred should just be replaced with a T-posing armored AI and the person on the pred team should be forced to spectate because I don’t like asymmetricals!

Yeah. The predator could keep fighting the other FT members, go for a long claim, or wait for the downed player to bleed out. The whole point would be to extend the battle between FT and predator without using the reenforcement mechanic. Leaving quick claims or allowing the predator to reduce the downed duration would leave FT members with no incentive to stay once downed because, at that point, your input on the outcome of the game is effectively over. Playing fireteam must be fun or the game will die.

Ok long claim is suicide so you can just remove that entirely. What a joke. I can only assume your teammates split off in all directions as soon as they load in.

If you have 3 people covering a downed guy YES you have incentive to stay in the game because people can still get you up if they’re not fucking garbage unable to pressure the pred with 3 people when this game only has the longest most ridiculous downed timers BECAUSE the pred can shorten them and force the FT to play around the downed guy.
You don’t get to be rewarded with half a min of human shield invincibility for being headshot with a bow.

IF they spawned you with the same equipment instead of REPLENISHING IT SO THAT FIRETEAMS SHOOT BARRELS AND KILL THEMSELVES TO GET ALL THEIR GEAR BACK people would still play fireteam without your terrible ideas encouraging preds to all use bow and just farm the downed guy everytime his bot team revives him while absolutely destroying pred gameplay in anything that’s not braindead ps4 pubs. Making it MANDATORY to farm people or make it MANDATORY to sit there and be farmed for downs is a bad idea and you should feel bad.
