A lot of people dont know what the hell reinforcement is, or when to effectively use it. A lot of noobs i come across call right after one person dies, or their entire team is dead and they decide to go for exfil without reinforcing. This SUCKS.
So in this tutorial im gonna teach you how and when to reinforce your teammates.
Starting off: one of your teammates dies, and you should see a little timer right below the game clock saying: REINFORCEMENT MISSION IN: (#)
Once it has gone to zero, a blue handshake icon will appear on your map and you can go over to the designated area and radio for help.
BUT
You should only do this when either the exfil point is marked and you want to revive your one dead teammate so he can give backup and get the exp for escaping/killing pred, or its in the middle of the match and at LEAST TWO of your team have died. You can only reinforce once, so use it wisely.
HOW TO DO IT: follow the blue handshake icon like you would the regular mission one to the marked area. After you are in about 10m within range of it, you will see a glowing/flashing yellow square radio box. Go up to it and press and hold the interact button. After you have finished that, a pop up will say “reinforcements incoming” or smth like that. Then you have to wait for them to arrive. BUT KNOW THAT CALLING ALERTS THE PREDATOR TO YOUR EXACT LOCATION, SO BE READY TO FIGHT. The two options while waiting are to mud up and hide somewhere, or you can wait and lure the predator into attacking you and hold out until your teammates respawn and can provide assistance. Then you should be good to go.
