While the idea of parrying an alien metal forged weapon with a crummy stainless steel knife, used by a muscular humanoid weighing in at 200lbs more than most humans, and with a 2/3 ft height advantage… Seems silly.
It is easy to counter. If someone parries, literally do anything except keep meleeing. You can net, slam, trap, caster, bow, spear throw, bob and weave, flank with hops. Or use Elder sword.

In all fairness though, parrying is needed for game balance otherwise Predator could just walk up to every FT and melee them down.

In fairness from my experience, the FT who tries to run/dodge seems to live longer than the one who tries to parry/melee with the Predator.
If you’re complaining about parrying, you’re playing wrong. If we’re using the movies as evidence, name one time the predator melees someone while other people are there. If you are 1v1, even with parry, you have the upper hand. Sounds like you’re playing out of position though.
Also, what are Predator weapons made from? Why do we assume steel is inadequate?
right thats why you out smart him and do it ahead of time the predator doesnt spawn on you. pretty unreasonable for you to ask the predator to deal with being stun when he trys to Melee but the fire team gets no down sides for it. plus i would rather trade something thats not in the sport of the movie for something that is.

ok then by that logic Exploiting the game is fine, you can play around setting abuse or when a predator does the slot glitch theres ways to play around it so its fineeeeee you just need to be better.
