I’d just “leak” it anonymously if you’re that worried. Create tutorial (make sure to remove any metadata), upload to streamable.com behind VPN (make sure to clear all cookie files etc), create email and account on here behind VPN, post it here. Once it’s here, others will download it and then it goes viral. Even if they “know” it’s you that leaked it, it’s only their suspicion at that point. Suspicion doesn’t hold up in court.
I remember my dad receiving some lawsuit papers way back in the day when I lived at home because I torrented some porn video lmao, and it was a honeypot torrent. Meaning it was purposely uplooaded and seeded by the rights holder to grap IP’s and send out what was later referred to as “John Doe” lawsuits. It was just a scare tactic. The lawsuit said you could be liable for up to $500,000 or some stupid shit like that, but they would be willing to settle for $5,000. They never actually pursued it, and they ended up getting in trouble later down the line when the courts determined that what they were doing was frivolous. The courts also determined that IP’s do not = people, so no lawsuit could be brought to begin with, and that’s the real point of mentioning this. I just threw that shit in the trash the instant I received it. I told my dad I downloaded a “movie”
