I have actually not paid attention to the whole reload sequence until now, that you reload your weapon faster if you leave atleast 1 bullet in the magazine/chamber. If you empty your magazine completely your character has to chamber a cartridge in the weapon after inserting a new magazine.
How can i have missed this? xD

Meaning reload is faster when you do it manually (with more than 1 bullet) then letting the auto reload function kick in, …hell sometimes it doesnt autoreload until you release the trigger(bullets at zero), release—let the auto reload sign come up… and click it again but that is mainly for automatic weapons.
