Remapping Pred commands (Discussion)

Has anyone remapped heat vision to R3?

Find it is great to keep thumbs on thumbs ticks while still doing heat vision sweeps.

If not what are your pred customizations you’ve done to your controller mapping?

Also have binded my left and right on the D pad to my primary/secondary pred weapons for ease of access. Does anyone do it different? Or do you stick with the weapons wheel?

I’ve not changed any controls, haha, stuck with the default and never looked back

I’ve been messing around with my mapping for a while

  • I’ve got my weapon wheel on R3
  • When I’m in second wind my give up option is up on the D-Pad, and my heal is square
  • X is just jump and I’ve mapped change branch to L1

I have circle on heat vision (I never use crouch)

Target isolation on R3

D-pad left weapon 2 (primary)

D-pad up weapon 3 (secondary)

D-pad right gear one (wrist launcher her at the moment)

D-pad down weapon 1 (plasma caster)

I got rid of vocal taunts so that I could map the main weapons to the d-pad - that way I only have to use the fiddly weapon wheel for mine/medkit/audio decoy selection.

I put thermal on R3, cross is jump only, and up on D pad is to ascend to trees. I did this because I constantly ascended into trees when I just wanted to make a small jump.

I made other changes, but those are the important ones I remember off the top of my head.
