Reneforcements

Can we please have the Predator recieve a drop of new equipment when fire team brings in re enforcement’s or at the very least just re equip items
Kinda suxk when you kill 3 and one runs to call them in fully armed and you have no equipment left

I’d rather there simply be no reinforcements at all. It will make most Predators feel like a threat and add to the fun factor even more. That’s what made F13 so great. You had one life so when you see Jason it gives you adrenaline trying to escape him. And it forced you to play smart, work as a team and use stealth. But this just feels like a glorified call of duty with simple, missions, dumb AI and a predator that’s more of a pest than an actual threat. And that’s a problem because it takes away from your main objective which is to complete the missions and escape. But because it’s in the game a lot of people just hunt the predator and kill him which should be a last resort. But they know that they’ll get a second chance so they’ll try to kill the predator.

And as for the predator side of things well it will definitely help those struggling and I’m sure a lot of people don’t find it fun busting their ass off to kill a decent fireteam just for them to all come back with full health, gear etct.

To be honest, I can’t see them ever removing it. I know some people like it for various reasons, but in my opinion it ruins the game for me. So I’ll settle for a reasonable nerf to it.

I think it should be nerfed. they should come in full health. pick one of their loadouts at random and no gear.

Also it should only bring back 1 person who is dead at random not the entire team. This would make it so the pred doesn’t feel like it wasted a ton of its items for nothing, the person who comes back is random and could be a big help or could just be alittle help. The reinforcement should not spawn at the bloody radio it should spawn randomly on the map. This would give the pred the option to abandon the rest of the fireteam for a somewhat easier kill or focus on the fireteam that is currently left.

The reinforcement should be a last chance not a crutch like it is currently.

I can’t count how many times I have had people purposely die and distract the predator while one runs for the reinforcements while the pred is distracted. They sit and wait till their entire team but them is dead. Hit the reinforce. The pred has no time to get there and stop it.

The entire team is now back full gear full ammo full health and they all planned to do it so they could get back all the gear they used.

This is a tactic people have used on me as a pred and people have used when I played FT. its cheap and it makes playing the fire team way to easy.

Yes I agree with that completely. If reinforcements have to stay in the game for whatever reason, then they should definitely go with your idea. At the moment it is a game breaking mechanic that can completely turn the tides of a match when really it should just be a small boost to help the fireteam along.

even with my idea if the pred doesn’t go after the randomly spawned player. that player can opt to be stealthy to get the jump on the pred hammering their team.

I also believe there needs to be a lot more stealth play for the pred and some more for the fireteam. Currently most of the time the fireteam ignores being stealthy in anyway cause they don’t feel threatened by the pred. The pred is not stealthy enough hence why they don’t feel threatened.

Exactly. Most fireteam’s don’t adopt a stealthy playstyle when approaching their mission because they know they have a second chance so they don’t care about attracting the predator. It’s shocking how there is very little stealth in a game about hunting and predators.

I am surprised at the fact there are stealth mechanics for the fire team. mudding up reduces the visibility the npcs have on you. crouching does to. knifing enemies is a option to stealth kill, gives more exp and is a oneshot. most people doesn’t do any of the current stealth cause the pred just is to easy to detect and as you said they have a second chance.

Need reinforcements for both sides. Pred to gain more xp and prolong the game and hunt, fire team to give a chance.

I propose - penalty for leaving the game as FT before reinforcements no xp, and 5 min cooldown on matchmaking. Veri…um…shiny money for pred for killing +4 FT members .500, maybe 1k per member after 4 kills.

Reinforcements come back full health and 2/3 ammo, 1 gear item each, keep your loadout.

Reinforcements should stay but they should respawn with whatever they had when they died. If they get everything back then the predator should get his gear back and a time extension since he has to do it all again.

It would be really neat if the ft reinforcements came back with a stealth kill icon no other changes just stealth kill icon. It makes sense if you already claimed them once the second chance should have consequences.

The pred shouldn’t automatically get anything. Do a task and work for it. If FT needs to use a radio then pred has to stay in range of a signal beacon which shows up on the screen for everyone. Just like the radio is highlighted for the pred.
