How does illfonic deal with the so called “cheaters”?
There’s people reporting other players as “cheaters” based on the sole criteria that they feel they were cheated.
What, to illfonic standards, is considered “cheating”?
How can they prove the player was indeed cheating?
What does “EasyAntiCheat” even does and what is its “heuristic” mode?
So far I’ve only seen one post that showed a wallhack, but have yet encountered someone who made me believe was using it. There are currently no aimbots or wallhacks designed for this game so anyone using one must have developed themselves, which is not an easy task and in all honesty, not even needed on this game.
Hacking a console is beyond the skills of any average console player. Anyone with the skills to hack a console will unlikely play games that are not exclusives. That is the reason why we have emulators for pretty much all nintendo consoles but very few, if any, for PS3,PS4,XBOX360/ONE. So anyone accusing a console player of “cheater” is just salty.
Macros, although considered cheating, are impossible to detect as they emulate real user interactions. They are available on both platforms, on PC through software and on PS4 through 3rd party controllers
