Return the arrows back to 30.

You have nerfed the predator enough.
Limiting the arrows down to 20 on top of the nerfs is just uncalled for.

ESPECIALLY when you cannot fix the bug the game has had since day 1,
where at least 3-5 arrows fall through the ground after hitting an FT member and cannot be recovered

and EVEN MORE SO now that you decided to stop showing where the used arrows are located on the map.

It would be nice if the large pouch could increase the number of arrows.

Not really, because since they changed how fast the energy gets drained, I am forced to use the perk slots for the 2 energy buffs and the energy still drops too fast.
The predator right now is extremely nerfed there is no reason for the arrows to be that low too.

Oh sorry, I misunderstood the point.

In the end, I think the bow nerf was unnecessary. Either the damage or the number of arrows (or both) should be restored.

I would even accept all the rest of the nerfs.
But reducing the amount of arrows seems crazy as a decision.

I wonder what gave them the idea.
Were people complaining that the predator has too many arrows?!?
Do they try to force pred players to try more weapons??
So weird!

Yep, I run the bow a lot and I’m a pred level 115… the bow just seems like hitting them with a wet fish! Even when fully pud back, does hardly any damageww… the predator just feels really weak. And when I’m up against a good fireteam (not a team that rushed objectives) it turns into them pulling their knifes and trying to hunt me.

The bow is not that bad. The downrange damage buff is mandatory though - and headshots help a lot, too.

I try to use the bow mostly in situations when the FT member needs to hold still for some reason, or if they are running straight away from me.

Standing still or running in a straight line is pretty rare against a good/sweat fire team, I think the main issue is that it just takes way too long to pullback (to get max damage)

Even when they zig zag, it’s easier when they run away from you than in a 90° angle to your postion. But I agree, the pull takes long and you have to anticipate your targets movement. Mudding up or interacting with whatever switch, medic or ammo crate as well as reviving are the perfect moments for lining up a headshot. But even when you don’t go for the full pull you can cause some serious damage especially to weaker classes. Be patient and wear them down, then go in for melee. At least that is what works for me quite well.

Yeah that’s what I do too, wear them down… but that doesn’t work when you have a team that just rushes through objectives, I just played a game against 2 Dutch classes and 2 medics… pointless…. They just kept spamming medic packs and they were impossible to take out, I got down after down but they just sped through the missions… waste of time

Also I think once you down someone then next time you down them they should die, pretty silly that they can just keep getting back up and get knocked down again and again

I’m torn apart by this. On one hand I agree, but on the other it’s also damn funny sometimes and you can rack up loads of XP.

In cases like this you need to target the Field Medics specifically. Dutch 87 brings the tanky power but its the FM that fucks everything up. Its also worth running in and quick claiming, even if you get shot up and second winded, to eliminate a problematic player and reduce the numbers.

Keep in mind also that medpacks can be destroyed by plasma, either the caster or pistol.

They do die, actually. After three downs its an automatic death. There is a perk that makes it four but nobody uses it. So using the Samhain trick of downing someone, waiting for them to be revived, then shooting an arrow or combi at them to down them again and repeating that three times would help you out.

Update, started using the hand cannon and man oh man it’s soooooo much better and I’m winning much more games! The bow is just pointless now

The spent arrows dont show up on the map anymore?

Nope

Damnet didnt know about that one. Might come back and see how it plays, since the update i tried playin and couldnt get a full lobby so put it down and been playing undisputed, but might get back on tonight and see what the deal is

Lobbies start full most of the time. But at reinforce it’s like 50% bots. Still good fun.

Yeah but the game shouldn’t be forcing players to use a specific weapon.
It should be playable with all weapons and just let you choose the style of gameplay you prefer.

Not forcing you to quit a weapon by nerfing it to hell.

plasma caster > bow
