I feel only scouts and recon should be able to spot uncloaked predators, I also feel this should be removed on cloaking and have its base duration increased, but for this to work you would need to make overloads a more common occurrence, so keep fireteam damage the same, give predator a damage reduction while he has energy(like 15-20%), lost on an overload, make mask shots not remove mask but proc an overload based on a damage limit(the system surging to to protect the mask)(the predator should also have energy drained while receiving damage period-melee predators more susceptible to overloads), increase the duration of overloads slightly, and make mask shots on overloaded predators able to remove the mask(range predators less likely to lose their mask melee more likely and increased spotting duration would mean the FT could chase an overloaded predator effectively)
These changes would be intended to give snipers the same presence in matches while not being able to automatically remove a predators mask, an overload would put the predator at a disadvantage in the engagement by losing damage reduction and enabling his mask to be shot off if he continues his assault, as well as becoming spotted without a means to remove to spot, and actually bring energy consumption and overloads into a more tactical aspect of game play
