I havent fallen for this trap. Ive seen Fts do it.
I perffer to put 2 bear traps infront of the door and shoot at least one plasma cast into the room.
Weaken him up a bit.
Then just beat down the other 3.

However I did fall for a guy standing on a rooftop all alone.
Parry god.
While 3 very good snipers nearly made me soft salomy.
They shattered my mask quickly.

Yeah anyone under a roof is slam bait. I only enter a building when I want to be seen and am just fucking around, or have a bear trap plan

Yea as i said earlier in this thread you can use the slam and it’s very effective, and there is nothing wrong in utilizing it.

But for me personally i don’t like to use it cuz i feel like i shouldn’t really be able to do that. It’s kinda cheap lol

But then again body blocking a 7ft alien Hunter Warrior from a door is unrealistic and cheap as well.

So there you go lol

Talk about unrealistic I need 4 damn swing of my sword for take down a ranger for get kill by the second ranger and the dutch running to me with butter knives.

Lol yup once your inside it is very difficult to fight your way out of there with the whole FT firing and throwing grenades inside the room.

Ohh aw man yea that sucks. Like i understand a Sniper’s job is to keep look out and have the FT’s back, but spam spotting is kinda over the top imo

It’s how the meta work two ranger split take high ground and shoot and spam the spot button everywhere they can ad two heavy do the job

There’s also the “hard to tell” trick where sometimes a FT person will straight up just wander off a bit and you gotta make sure it’s not a bait.

Hard to tell because if they’re on mics, they’re waiting for you to drop down and get caught in a parry or two and then light your ass up from behind.

Or its guys running around doing their own thing and an easy kill.

Yea i’ve experienced that before there would be 1 FT member not mudded up and bright as day when your in therm vision, then when u drop down on him the other 3 FT members who are mudded up come out of no where and start spraying you with fire

Sometimes its none of them mudded up too.

Thats why I range hit and kill till one if gone completely.

There is another trap (typically set by a PC FT) where one FT is not mudded up firing his weapon in place making pretend he is glitching out and stuck.

Then when u drop down to kill him the other 3 FT members who are mudded up come out and light you up

The other 3 would stay in the vicinity completely still while mudded up looking at the bait FT until the Predator comes

If you have any experience as the Predator, you will know that going inside a building + small confined spaces = Pred wipe

Either roof slam or distance plasma caster splash damage
