Depriving a predator of his only trump card - mobility - is to some extent abuse of game mechanics.
In canon too - they could try to chase him, but not to stop him or block knives by theis bodies.

That sounds like an awesome bit of tactical play.
I think the problems arise when you get used to playing against PUG’S where everyone is lone wolf and have no tactics other than shoot at the predator and vaguely follow objective markers as it suits them - predators get lazy (me included).
Well co-ordinated fireteams are powerful and this is where I feel using the mic in game is a key thing. I dont know what it is in PS4, nobody talks on mic. Maybe people are afraid of being trolled or ignored or whatever.
So long as they ain’t blasting justin bieber in the background they are fine!

Yea FT’s that use mics are deadly especially if they are PC because they can coordinate and strategize how they want the match to play out in their favor.
The trap where one FT member is firing his weapon in place making pretend he is glitching and stuck was more of the clever traps i’ve seen so far.
And it was a 4 man FT PC team lol
A good way to counter this if you do fall for it is to throw the combo stick through them especially if they are lined in the door almost kills all of them

I almost got caught when I claimed 1 person and they went for the reinforcements. I thought it was strange it was taking so long for reinf. to show up. Turns out they mudded up and hid. I walked right into it, but managed to fight my way out and claim a second. Cost me my mask though. I survived. Thats what matters.

Yeah dude… I went in there on purpose to lure you guys in, but I couldnt switch to elder sword fast enough. As soon as I netted I took a swing with the wrist blades and just couldnt switch fast enough. I should have tossed a trap in there first then went in with my sword. You have no idea how many piles of FT I’ve left in buildings like that. Shit happens I guess. Lol.

What’s funny is I did this accidentally to a predator, he downed me in a door way and it was blocked off to him and then after that I started seeing more people do that. I usually just spam plasma Canon into the room.
Its very hard to trap a pred in a building, I did it only a few times but man does it feel good! :D

Happened again. Ft must’ve seen me kill a piggy and 2 of them camped near it, while the others fought me. When I went to eat it, they pounced. I slaughtered them like piggys.
