Salty AF

Man I’m getting salty. The glitches are starting to become more and more annoying. When the Pred controls well, it’s awesome. But constantly bumping into things I thought I’d clear with leap? Falling off trees for no reason but still registering as being on them? Trying to jump onto a tree and instead flying past it? Trying to run or leap and suddenly attacking for some reason making it impossible to escape without just eating a ton of damage? Trying to move while aiming the caster and instead just canceling the shot? Stamina suddenly not regenerating? All in a single match, causing me to take a ton of damage I wouldn’t have otherwise and lost the match with only one fireteam kill…

I really want this game to succeed. It needed another 6 months of polish. Illfonic is in a situation, and I’m sure it must really suck but they did it to themselves, where players are unhappy with the game because of the numerous bugs and demanding fixes. Meanwhile they also released with extremely limited content, no progression after 100, no additional game modes, matchmaking issues, etc. So now they’re stuck scrambling to fix the issues that frankly should have been fixed before launch, while also trying to ready more content, and balance the game as the player base starts to lose patience.

Guys, please get your shit together. Whatever you gotta do, just get it together. Get all your shit together. Put it in a backpack, take it to the shit museum. Whatever you gotta do. Just get your shit together.

6 months? As far bugs are concerned it should take at most 2 weeks to fix. The. Collision problem with leap is just the game not taking into account what’s around.

So the red landing marker is off whenever your by something you can collide with. I really hate when your plasma shot hits right by you because again, the game isnt taking into consideration stuff that’s on the way. But that seems like such a minor fix.

Jumping on tress and it not doing it sometimes is another example of the terrain not being considered by the game when your tryna do something.

The game thinking you’re on a branch while being on the ground I cant really explain that one but I’ve seen stuff like that in other games.

But anyway I completely agree that all this shit needs fixing. But, I really cant see them needing 6 months to fix this. They should be able to in like I said 2 weeks, at the very most like 1 month. I hope to fucking god they arent as incompetent as funcom when it comes to programming. I love conan exiles but holy fuck they always fuck something up and when they say they fixed it they severely fuck up something else.

I’m loving this game so far. I just hope they stuck with it and improve it, and make it the awesome game it can be. It’s pretty good atm but needs work is all.

Bugs/glitches/exploits is definitly priority.

I think the rush is partly not their fault because they would be pushed by Sony because they want their investment return. Its always the case with Publishers and Devs. Publishers force the Devs and the Devs get the shit for it.

On the other side is a game with no publisher putting pressure on and you have StarCitizen…
Going to be over a billion dollar game and over 10 years…

Anyway, yeah BUG FIX PLZ ILLFONIC MATE, mate, best mate plz mate :D

Ya a good deal of predator skill is defeating the game mechanics. This weekend i had some rageouts over jumping over rocks resulting in just jumping straight up in the air or press f to eat which really means fly up onto a tree and become unresponsive.

just aheads up if you’re hunting boars for health; make sure the body stops moving before you try and eat them. i killed one on slope, and when i tried to eat it right away, it rolled down the hill a bit and i got locked into place for over 5 seconds and didn’t even get the heals lol i had to go up to the carcass again and feed from it lol

No, I mean they probably needed another 6 months of development time to fix bugs, balance, make sure weapons are worth using, etc, and test. Testing, testing, testing, and more testing. Making more content. More maps, more game modes, etc. Like UK_Spawn said, it’s probably not their fault but more like Sony trying to push. But the game really shouldn’t have been released in this state. It’s gonna put a lot of pressure on Illfonic while they try to cram 6 months worth of work into the next few weeks. Again, I’m not talking about just bugs and balance but more content. The lack of time to test things means that balancing changes are going to be more hit and miss and probably have a lot more back and forth between patches. Also that new content may come with bugs of it’s own. I’m worried that the team is spread really thin right now.
