Salty fireteams

I play both sides alot and it’s starting to bug me. Every game I play as the predator at the very least one member of the fireteam quits after being killed. Sometimes 2 or 3 right in the middle of a claim most of the time and I lose out on kills and exp. It works both ways sometimes as the fireteam the predator quits early or after being killed which is just as lame but not every match and the fireteam doesn’t lose out the same way on kills or exp. Something needs to be done about the fireteam quiting and the predator losing out it’s getting real old real fast.

Fix is actually REALLY easy.

Just allow long-claims on Fireteam bodies that quit.

Quitting automatically should give pred the XP from a long claim w/o having to actually claim them

I fear this has the potential to be abused. (Particularly in private matches)
That’s not to say, they couldn’t implement this with a couple of safe-guards to prevent such abuse though.

I’d be more in favour of any FT that quits, instantly dies at the location they are at, and becomes permanently visible to the Predator (map & hud), if they want to go and claim them.

Although I’m still hoping for some kind of “AI Takeover mechanic” in the future.

Isn’t it funny how devs spend such a long time developing games and we fuck em up so fast.

if that going to happen same thing should happen for pred. Too many butt hurt preds who get whipped and then just leave. I mean I already have a thread for this about FT/pred quit penalties

Yeah when a pred quits fireteam still gets exp. Which isn’t the case with fireteam and the fireteam is way more salty.

If the Pred is dead, who does it hurt if they leave exactly?

When the Predator leaves you can still find their body and kill it last time I checked.

It would actually be a good idea for the game to flag the ‘left’ Predator’s location on the hud/minimap.
