I feel the new map isnt going to help at all with all these new games and the ps5 coming out. This game is going to hell in a hand basket. I know the new map was supposed to be released this month but cmon guys don’t make us wait all month especially that avengers is out now and Cold War is on the way. I know I won’t be playing much. Maybe like %10-%20 of my gaming time. The new game mode and map has come waaaaaayyyy to late. I’ve lost interest in this game and all my friends that had this game have either sold it or don’t want to play it at all because of the bugs that are “supposedly” fixed yet still running rampant in this game. Not trying to be a hater but I’m being as realistic as I can. Nobody I know wants to play this and a new “map and game mode” isn’t going to fix it.
Idk what needs to be done but I do know that y’all need to step up your “game” and fire/hire some people @Courier .
No other game I’ve ever played before has bugs like this one.
I’m max level and have nothing left to unlock. “No incentive to play” other than to play predator every once in a while for some good spine rips but that’s about it…
I had hope for this game but I can see now it’s a dying flame.

This is my concern too. This game is probably mostly reliant on its playstation playerbase. Im pretty sure its gonna be ported over to ps5 but still.

They rely on us way too much.
Even just to report errors and bugs that should have already been addressed before release of content.

To be fair its a AA studio. They are likely understaffed and have most of their team doubling as playtesters and can only do so much with that.

Yeah, the latest patches basically turned the game into ft biased COD light, and with so many better options where you can play a human running around with a gun coming out, the only thing holding this game up is the IP. History shows that wont be enough. Well see what the devs come up with.

Then hire more people. I’m not trying o be an illfonic hater but they are not toddlers. I’m pretty sure they should know where to fix the issues yet we keep seeing the same problems along with new ones developing.

Hiring more people is a double edged sword. And with the pandemic still going it would be difficult to maintain

I’m not trying to be a dick but I’m probably gonna play the new map and be like “ohh this is cool” but after a few rounds I’m going to get tired and switch games. Like it is “ohh this is badass!” But it not drop jaw “wow!” Lol

Im anticipating the same thing. If its a new gamemode that comes with the new map it might hold me over much longer. But thats purely speculation

This is a very rough patch (not the patch but the situation), it’s going to be an uphill battle. Simply releasing the patch isn’t going to change that for them. Sooner might be better if it’s done, done is better than sooner though.

Over the next 6 - 8 months we need the same rough update schedule as we have now. Unfortunately it needs to be content oriented ie. weapon, mechanics, maps and things that get people to sign in.
Things that unfortunately take time. It’s why I think I would have scheduled night maps/other variants along side new maps and map assets. They may have done that, we’ll have to wait and see.
(Got some idea’s I’ll post later about maps)
They’re likely working on dozens of things at any given time and while it will be an uphill struggle, I do think this game can be better and much more expansive that Dbd.

Moi j y jouerai TOUJOURS et si un jeu avc autant de bug g connu star wars battlefront 2 et j y est jouer pendant 3 ans non stop et jy joue encore enfin plus trop je joue à predator lol et TOUT les soirs donc oui jy crois et je sais que du contenue et prévu et pour longtemps.

I am a realist and I am from the UK and I will tell you this, these guys have gone above and beyond for an AA studio that as worked through a pandemic, I can only applause them as they are not a AAA studio with loads of staff and loads of studios etc I am sorry guys but what you see is what you are going to get work-wise and progress.

I will say this. I blame Sony PlayStation more them I blame illfonic because normally PlayStation thoroughly checks their games and releases them at a high standard to say that they have stuck their brand on this and said it’s worthy for a release is appalling as this game needed longer in the oven to be fully polished. But Sony knew what they was doing with the IP AND THE FANBASE WILLING TO BUY INTO IT.

BUT I will say this illfonic have brought you a game that wouldn’t be here as no other studio was interested in making it and we have to thank them for bringing us fans something to play and yes it may not be fully playable to some but for me, in the UK I have been lucky because I have not witnessed anything groundbreaking or anything to ruin my.ganes.

The only issues I have seen is the server in-game isn’t always fluid or smooth but this doesn’t happen that often and the skins and different colour predlocks etc not loading in sometimes but these are minor.

WE LIVE In a world of gaming that allows devs etc to change and test the game we play and to patch them and upgrade them and improve the graphics etc take F13, for example, that game now is amazing and the graphics got improved but got ruined by a lawsuit, This game in time will have all the modes and maps and graphics update that you desire but it won’t happen quickly and it will take patience.

Bro what as this got to do with a video game made by illfonic and produced by Sony? Some of you guys need to chill and realise it’s just a game and not real life. End of the day the game is being taken care of slowly But surely and in time it will be better. If you don’t like it quit bitchin on here and go play another game instead crying like a toddler
