Gonna tell you right now so no one else hurts your feelings. You’re using both Samurai and the Katana incorrectly.
Both are Hit-And-Run types.
Using Samurai, you’re gonna wanna keep tabs on your opponents every chance you get. Definitely use Motion Trackers and place them on frequently travelled paths but out of sight. Typically on walls, low ceilings, or below where they’re standing. Also make sure to use thermal when they forget to mud up. Marking them lasts longer than motion detects.
Once you have tabs on them, you need to scare them. Use your plasma caster from cheeky angles, either on distant trees, from behind a sneaky corner, or hopping and shooting. Be careful hopping and shooting, though. He’s got 2 hop n shoots before he’s exposed and is unable to leap before he’s being laid into.
If you notice them going different routes, very briefly splitting up, that’s it right there, you’re chance to punish. They’re going around different corners, punish the most distant one. Use your katana to hit him once with a heavy and a light and then leap away in the opposite direction. Find a safe spot to observe from, but make sure you’re still close enough to be able to leap in and punish. This is why you’re using trackers, keeping track of where everyone is.
Then it’s basically rinse and repeat. Don’t be afraid to change tactics as needed. If you find yourself against a good Spotter, well then you’re shit outta luck if you don’t take him out first.
