Sorry about the absence, I went to watch Predator at the cinema yesterday and didn’t get back til late.
As for the Samurai Challenge, personally I’m not even attempting to play as Predator right now until they get this broken update fixed. The games I have tried recently have all been plagued with bugs, I’m not enjoying myself and I don’t feel any kind of accomplishment beating teams that are obviously new to the game. I’ll be back when they drop a hotfix.

Just tried to play a match as Samurai and switch to the Bow instead of Smart Disc to avoid the sprinting bug after throwing the disc…and I got the damn bow bug where it wouldn’t charge the shots but just fires a limp arrow instead😡

I let them Second Wind me so I could detonate my bomb. The annoying part was I’d just killed a boar with a bow shot, and it had let me charge that shot up so I thought I was good to go but the moment I engaged the Fireteam my bow just decided to fuck me over. There’s nothing to indicate what causes the bug either, it just randomly starts to happen and once it does your bow is useless. I’m not holding out hope for them to fix this anytime soon, it’s been 5 days already and nothing other than “The team are aware and working on a fix”.
We shall have our vengeance, dear bow users! Not with shitty samurai tho.

Nice vid, I watched it earlier while summoning the strength to try a match as Predator. The Samurai Class is pretty solid now since 2.05. You get reduced melee damage from Fireteam while getting a melee buff yourself, tanky healthy pool and good stamina. Better than a Beserker and Viking for melee and movement.

I know but all that DR and melee buff dmg is useless now. xD

Yeah I tried 3 matches with Samurai got parry crashed twice and then same thing with my bow except my Pred also stopped sprinting…a Sad Sad day of Sabbath for if not for these bugs Honor and Glory would have been ours! Next Sunday! Its going down!! That hotfix better drop by then or its going to be a Raining Plasma kind of day…

Yup, just parried a Samurai and he froze…at least we should be able to get our weekly finished quick😒

Right? Its basically a death wish if you melee recklessly right now which is why I’ve been leaning into the Pistol pretty hard, that way I can run and gun and stay cloaked. Hit and run and constant harassment is the name of the game until this hotfix comes whenever that is. 😒

Sorry guys, after this game I kept having issues with my Predator not leaping, switching weapons without me doing anything and freezing when I tried to sprint. I’m literally pushing forward on the stick and Predator is stood still, got second winded and it wouldn’t leap or move…so I gave up trying to get more videos. It’s been an exhausting weekend, see you guys on Thursday for the Viking Challenge 👍🏼
