They should have buffed the hardest weapons of Pred to help the best Pred players to face the best Fireteam players. But what did they do? They nerfed Bow , Combi Stick and Plasma Pistol !! They nerfed the hardest weapons of Predator and the ones that require more skill and aim to use. The bow should be buffed a lot, combi stick should be reverted to pre shadow nerf and Pistol now is just a trash weapon. Buffing these 3 weapons wont affect noobs pred players because , you know, they are noob. They have to understand how to make the game fair.
This game is never going to be “fair”… It’s 4v1. 4 separate minds vs 1 mind. It was never supposed to be an even match. The only way they could think about balancing for fairness is if the FT was played by one brain. There are to many factors involved. It will never be an E-sport. The best high level players can hope for is they listen and give Preds the tweaks needed to compete with 4 skilled and coordinated FT (Like the ones you mentioned). Which is in direct opposition to what the majority of FT players would be able to handle.
They started this game out assuming people would use coms and actually try to be a team… They were wrong. Most of the FT players are on PS4, don’t have a mic, and for one reason or another, have the situational awareness of a an aborted fetus.
So they naturally have to try to cater to the ones who will pay the bills… and that’s not the top 5% of the player base. But yeah, they’re kinda screwed either way at this point. I hope there can be a compromise, but I have no idea how.
