They’re still smarter than most of the fucking teammates I’m usually put with. These bots don’t run off to the other end of the map just to get killed and rage at their team. And they’ll actually shoot the fucking predator when it’s in front of them unlike most of the teammates I get.
Say what you will about the Fireteam bots but...

Yeah but only because they actually follow you and shoot the predator. It was a very low bar to beat anyway to be fair.

I’ve not tried them in public matches but from what I can tell from the few private matches I tried, I leaped down at them, spent 1-2 seconds and my health was a smidge from being fully depleted so yeah seems like it. They seem to run perks too. I’ve not tested medium range with them so I’m not sure if they have aimbot like accuracy but if they do…god help the predator mains.

You can’t call people retards just because they wanted something you didn’t, that just makes you look childish man. I could say the same about anyone wanting a new mode that’ll be rushed and completely break the game. It could apply to everything with this shitty game. So let’s not be petty man.
But anyway, yeah the bots suck, no surprise there, but to say they serve no purpose is just ignorant. No matter how shitty they are, they have made an impact on the game whether that’s something you like or not it doesn’t matter. No longer will matches be one sided just because someone decided to leave. That alone is a big positive for people. Plus they fill in empty slots for people looking to play private matches but can only find like 2 people. I think any person that wants the game to improve would take half assed bots over silly shit like big head mode. I won’t deny that they’re some of the worst AI I’ve seen in my life. But I won’t pretend like they don’t do anything beneficial to the game either.
But let’s face it, not even 3v12 is going to save this game at this point. Just like everything else at this point It’ll release half assed and broken and take 2 months before we see the first wave of fixes for it. You’ll have your fun with it for a week then move on because it’ll run like shit. Just sit back and watch the ship crash and burn and move onto something else. This game ain’t worth the time and energy no more.

Don’t we all. But let’s be realistic here, that ain’t gonna happen. They can add whatever the hell they want and it’s going to almost always be terrible. This game ain’t being saved. It’s past that point. I give it till end of the roadmap then it’s canned for good. I mean, shit barely pushed 30 viewers on twitch today. You’d expect more than that for a game that just got a content update.

I like the fact that if you get killed, you can re-spawn immediately in one of them. That right there is a game changer vs when you are playing with potatoes and you want to take over them but can’t
looking forward to run scout doublespeed and chase down preds just so when they quick claim me I can continue my onslaught after taking control of a bot

See they’ve actually impacted the game. Though how does that work anyway? I never tried it on public matches. Do you have to be reinforced for that to happen or can you replace the bot, die, then get reinforced?
I guess the best update this game had was the ai bots that you get on the team

Once you are killed and you switch to 3rd person view of your teammates you are presented with a keybind to take control of the bot. In reality, you don’t take control of the bot, you just switch places, bot is now dead and you are alive. You load in again with your loadout, not the bot’s

Ah fair enough. I thought it would be a replacement for reinforcements seeing as at first it sounded OP but thinking about it it’s not as bad as it sounds. Probably better for the pred since real players don’t have aimbot like the bots lol. Not a bad idea to be fair.
Basically preds will have to think twice now before going after the “human” because if they get badly hurt in that engagement, the player can continue attacking if it gets quick claimed. They’ll have to play more strategically.
TBH, I’m looking forward to play with bots more than playing with randoms.
