There is barely a difference between monthly and bi monthly updates there of the same quality, which isnt alot.

Yeah, maybe the bots will get a bit of complexer movement and actions around the Hotfix. We don’t know what they have in stock.
Could be test on how the bots work and what needs adjustment.

See that’s where it’s weird because those bots actually moved about and had a more complex objective they could do. Wonder why the same devs can’t program them to do a simple objective of holding down one button or shooting an object 🤔
They had other devs helping them with the game so that may be it.

Im not going to sugar coat it.
This is Definitely Not the game for bots.
However, at the very least, a 2v8 hunt would hold off the majority Of the playerbase for a few months, giving illfonic time to come up with Something new and good, and a lot of time to work on bugs.
So no, it’s not petty.

They have aimbots
All fixes will now be directed towards this shitty marketplace bot AI and either overtuning or undertuning them lel, because they couldn’t incentivize even staying in the match
Not to mention the weird shit taking over a bot does to the balance but who cares anymore no modes

You can’t complain about bots not working then say a 2v8 or 3v12 will save the game without any problems. I can guarantee it will not hold people for months because it will run like shit on PS4 and people will ditch it and go back to regular hunt like they did with clash. Sure it’ll be a fun mode to have, but that shit ain’t happening anytime soon let’s be realistic here. And if it did, it’ll break the game and they won’t fix it for months rendering it pointless. Nothing in this game works properly or will ever work properly and nothing is going to save it. I don’t know why after a year you still think this.
Besides, the bots are half assed I doubt it took them much of any time away from whatever they may or may not be working on which would either be another jungle map, a third bare bones mode, reskinned preds and garbage melee weapons. Let’s face it, they’re not working on anything worthwhile to worry about pulling resources from. I would agree with you if they were actually cooking up something good…but they’re not and they never will. Be realistic man, look at their history and set your expectations accordingly. You’ve only yourself to blame for your disappointment at this point

As for those modes not running well the game already doesn’t run well.
But if it runs how the game currently is, it will ge enough.
I know plenty of ppl who would come back for at the very least a 2v8.
It would hold them at least for a month because it’s fun to play with friends.
Do I have faith in illfonic?
No.
I’m just mentioning what needs to happen.
And the problem with asking for shit like bots, is that it pulls attention from what needs to be worked on.
This just means that any smart pred will go for the bots first instead of actual players to prevent them from soul swapping.

That’s the problem. The ideas you give sound good on paper…and only good on paper. Illfonic will not be able to execute well enough to keep people playing. Why would anyone want to play it if it runs at 5fps and doesn’t work half the time? Sure maybe people you know would and hell, even I would, but we’re not everybody. It’ll just keep the hardcore playerbase happy while newcomers will try it and go back to something else, leaving us back at square one. It’s happened with everything. Arnold Schwarzenegger couldn’t even save this game when he was added twice for crying out loud.
And I will tell you now the bots did not take piss all resources away from anything else. It’s probably store bought AI that took barely any time to implement anyway. And I guarantee they are not working on anything good enough to care about taking away resources from. You really think waiting longer for another jungle map or weapon reskin is anything to lose sleep over? I think you are too optimistic for this game and need to look at it realistically. Come on, don’t make someone with a clown avatar open your eyes.
