I said it to someone once in a discussion here on the forums. If FPS is that big a deal and at 240FPS you can’t see the fucking predator launch a Kamehameha at you from a tree what’s the point?

You will come to know these neuroses well scum

MAX FPS is life!

These peasants gon learn the hard way.

My eyes on crack 😎

is not about image quality, is about reaction/response time

higher fps makes it easier to react/response faster. Is not going to make you react faster, it just makes it easier. If you suck, you suck, period. But having a hardware limit may make you play worse than you could.

this is why we strive for 1ms response monitors, higher refresh rates and higher refresh rate for wired M&K. The faster you see something and the faster your controls register and process your inputs, the faster your react time is

Which was the point of my comment, at the time especially but even now. All the hardware advantages won’t help a lot of people who play this game. PC side included

I’d say, you’d be surprised. Some folks may improve. I sure as hell did when I moved from 60 to 140 and upgraded my system so I can run better frame rates.

In an ironic note, I seem to play better when I’m lightly “buzzed” than when sober or fully drunk. Fully drunk for obvious reasons, but sober I believe I overthink before reacting, while buzzed you get kinda careless and just go with the flow

As far as alcohol being a prefomance enhancer…yes. I’m the same way, especially playing pred.

I dunno though as far as the hardware. It’s kinda hard to make the determination. I just don’t see FPS and refresh rate helping people parry as much as you’d think

To avoid yet another discussion on the topic I will tell you why it does matter, over a private message

I’m just going to close this thread and you all know why
