SCAM PLAYER - Tells everyone they are "FRIENDLY PREDATOR"

A PSN player we came across starts up group chats with the players, tells them he is friendly, waits for players to put their guard down then kills them.

Tells them they will get tons of XP by letting him kill them and then completing their objective after revive then tells you he will let you kill them.

Guard down again… kills you and claims the trophies. Round over in less than 5 minutes.

He has claimed he has done this to more than 8 matches this morning.

Be careful, sounds like people have figured out how to exploit the XP system.

Why would you believe him? He’s a Predator after all? Wouldn’t working with him for XP dampen your gameplay experience either way?

Dumbest thing i have EVER heard…you shouldn’t even play PVP games if you are this easy to fool, the human race never fails to amaze me…

To be honest I did this a few time last night, but I never claimed anyone and allowed the fireteam to leave on the chopper each time. As soon as I entered the lobby I let everyone know that I’m looking for a long match and that I’m not looking to end it quickly. They are free to search for cash and I would only take pot shots at them in order to practice with a new loudout/Predator Class. It was fun.

We would still battle and I would down them, but I wouldn’t take a trophy and I would give them time to revive. We would also proximity chat during the match which made for some good laughs. It helped to add some longevity to the match. I honestly don’t care if I win, I’m just looking to have some fun since matches tend to end too quickly just to have to wait another five minutes for a match.

I know this type of gameplay is probably better suited for Private Match but my crew wasn’t around and just thought I’d give it a try. It was never about XP, it was about having fun with randoms and not wiping them out in 3 minutes.

Shouldn’t be listening to it in the first place. His goal is to kill you, why make it easy for him?

Then why are you complaining, about him killing you? I’m finding it hard to understand what you’re trying to say. You said he killed people with their guards down, now you’re saying he just chilled. What?

Im saying that he wouldnt play correctly, found us and just chilled out then waited for us to do objectives and killed us. Literally just didnt try to stalk us or anything. Just hung out on the ground and wouldnt attack us for a hit. Someone told him our spawn. I already hes been doing this

Okay, then why did you let him kill you? “Didn’t believe him” but yet here you are, saying he was chilling and killed you after you finished your obj. You played into his trap, don’t fault him because you followed a Wolf to its den.

I notice this yesterday when Predators wouldn’t even show up at all during the match and just waited at the exfil point just to try to wipe us all out at once. Pretty lame actually. Too bad during one of these matches I had picked up an LMG and mowed him down within seconds of trying to ambush us at the chopper. Was pretty funny.

I don’t like this tactic, it takes away from the gameplay and only rewards gamblers. The chance of wiping the entire fireteam at the exfil point is pretty slim, so they only really do it to piss people off and try to get a big payout, but in turn they lose the XP that could be earned throughout the match and risk not taking any fireteam out before they exfil.

How would you have played it? Just boom killed him and round over? Leave the match? We wanted to play and everyone is pissed at me cause someone else is being an asshole

Uh yeah, I’d of killed him. Sucks, but it’s him or you, and he got you. This tactic is all over the game now because Predators are either tired of being steamrolled. Or, are horrible at playing said Predator. Just try and not fall for stuff like this. It sucks, because it ruins the length of the game.

Thats lame. When I raise the white flag of friendship as pred I never ever go back on it. Its just wrong :P
